I don't recall him publicly stating that he agreed with that. That would hurt since his constituency didn't want him to vote as he did. What he and other big D's did do, though, is say that they agreed with the "idea" of the bill, that the administration should be held accountable. But that's not what the bill does...there were laws in place before this one, and Bush disregarded them, what makes anyone think he'll care about this one? Has anyone heard of appeasement? It doesn't work.
Too bland. It should cut to the heart of the issue and post "credit list like" the list of senators and representatives that voted to aprove this bill, and run it on their districts
Republicans got us into a mess, and now the Democrats have betrayed us for electing them to clean that mess up. Both parties stink more than a dirty diaper. Vote GREEN for Congress in 2012!!!!
Our government is keen to progressively, almost under the radar, taking away the very freedoms we fought and died for in the Revolutionary War. I see one of two future scenarios:
1. Our government will progressively strip our freedoms until citizens as a whole notice that it has gone too far, and will spark another Revolutionary War, causing death and destruction to our country
-or-
2. We will realize what's up NOW and fight to reverse what has happened - without war, yet without mercy.
If someone's phone is worth tapping then the law enforcement agents (Executive Branch) can get a warrant from the JUDICIAL branch -- that's checks and balances. Now the LEGISLATIVE branch is working to cut the Judicial branch out of the system.
F-that. If they want to tap my phone, or your phone, or the phone of any telecom customer then they should got and get a WARRANT.
Why would our Congress want to murder our Constitution? We need to get rid of any in this Congress who voted for this God-awful legislation, and elect a new one! They don't deserve to serve, if they voted to take away our FOURTH AMENDMENT!!!
It makes me so mad how videos like this have so little views.

Just a simple question:
Hasn't Barrack Obama voted YES for this bill?
johnjohn34343 3 years ago
Yes he did, without reading it or listening to his constituency, of course.
SeanFromIT 3 years ago
No, he read it, he just ended up agreeing with what the bill said and would do.

Well, voting for the bill is a pretty clear indication that he supports what the bill would do.

This is an important message -- a crucial message, even.
And it deserves to be brought to the attention of every American who cares about the Constitution and the future of freedom in our country.
