  • Thanks, Just installed mine. The spring is shorter than stock. Looks like it should work well. We'll see when I get to the range. Thanks again.

  • Good Video. Like you said, plenty of video's on the trigger assembley, but not too much on the bolt. Thanks!

  • Thanks man! Just installed mine with the help of this video.

Keep up the good work and Happy Holidays!

  • Wow! Great video, clear and concise. Since I did the chamber work on my 10/22 and switched to CCI Blazer, the rounds do not extract manually. Gun functions and ejects just fine, but when I try to remove an unfired round by cycling the bolt, the extractor hook does not pick up the rim of the round. I noticed the CCI rim is a bit thicker than some of the other brands of ammo. Maybe I'll try to resharpen the extractor if I can't get my hands on a VQ.

    Thanks for a great video!

  • Thank you. You are live saver. I took the mine apart for the first time trying to clean it. By accident, I pulled the extractor outward and things fly over all the place. Good thing I found all the parts but completely helpless how to put it back. Man, I am glad you shared this video. Thanks.,

  • great video. Got one on on order should be here any day. Should fix my stovepiping issues hopefully.

  • Grape Shasta! YUM. Good Vid. Is that the factory bolt? I polish mine from 400 grit to 2000 grit then dremel polish to mirror. Easy to do, makes a lot of difference and saves about $150 match bolt which is just silly. OEM bolts come really rough and pitted. Also Slick 50 in an eye dropper is awesome bolt lube, just a couple drops.

  • Thanks. I am hoping this will help fix my problem.

  • i hear zeppelin in the background... nice. the video helped thanks a lot.

  • Wanted to add I also found your video extremely helpful. Got a vq extractor and this 10/22 is my first rifle so your video helped a lot. Only thing I noted was that I fiddled with trying to shove the extractor front and back a bunch because I thought I had that dip you were talking about between the plunger and base of the extractor (and cause I didnt remember exactly how it looked stock).

But it really only sat one way and is nice and easy. Thanks!

  • thank you sir!

  • picked mine up for $9.99 sucka! lol very helpful video, thank you.

  • @158057 Hahah well we can't all find the good deals I suppose. Thanks for watching and happy shooting!

  • Picked up a VQ extractor today, and I'll be using this video to walk me through the install tonight. Thanks!!!

  • perfect vid! I just bought the same extractor, and went on youtube typed in "Ruger 10/22 Extractor" and your vid came up 1st. thanks for posting this
