    Leon

  • Wow besides bringing back memories the total sound is great, well done Leon.

  • @pyeinthesky - Thank you. I'm glad you like the sound. Sorry for not responding earlier, but YouTube has been missing message notification lately. Got your motorcycle out yet?

    Leon

  • Hello

Wonderfull the way you play the accordion

I'm following your progress to learn how you do it

Keep posting your comments and thoughts please

Hope I could play like that, with a full orchestra behind me!

    Greetings

    Luis

  • @luismonmex - I'm happy you like the sound of my arranger system. I use vArranger2 software with a Ketron SD4 sound module and DELL computer. Roland will come out soon with a new unit called the BK-7M Backing Module. You may like that one better.

  • Very pleasant to listent this delicious tune played with style and elegance

    I love it

    Bravissimo Leon

    Lillo

  • @amarcordeon - Thank you Lillo for your kind words and encouragement. You continue to be an inspiration to me by your wonderful playing.

    Leon

  • Leon, it is great to see you experimenting with the possibilities of midi and arrangers. Just last Saturday I did a gig with a drummer and used the SD3 for the first time at a job, using it for sounds I couldn't get with the 7x, like lead guitar, DX piano, and grow brass. The SD3 handled the bellows expression without any problem. Sounds good.... keep it up!

  • @jimgansett - Thank you for the encouragement Jim. I guess I'm enjoying this auto accompaniment more than I expected.

    Leon

  • @alainhammond - Thank you Alain for your approval of my playing with an arranger. I am just starting to play music using this technique. It will take a while before I become as good as you. Perhaps I never will.

    Leon

  • the video is really nicely done but I guess I am more old style, non electronic sound and method... love that Diane is loving her lessons and accordion tho, you two make a great team.. I am looking forward to your upcoming duos!

  • @beginnerbeader - I agree that playing with an arranger is not for everyone. But I find it fun and I consider it a stepping stone in my progress. Diane will need some time. She is only half way through Book 1 of Palmer-Hughes. But she's coming along fine. We practice together and I hope to eventually make some videos with her.

    Leon

  • What a brilliant video.I´am very impressed about your playing and the technique you used,Thanks for posting it.

  • @6Heureka - Thank you Jochen for your encouragement.

    Leon

  • wow, really amazing Leon! Great accompaniment and very well played by you. Bravo! Is the FR-3 new?

    Silvia

  • @sia1807 - Thank you Silvia for noticing my playing accuracy. Since I am repeating this piece for demonstration purposes, I have practiced it more. Perhaps this shows that I should practice my news piece more before posting them.

We bought the FR-3 used on eBay for Diane. She loves it. Making this video allowed me to test it for her. I like it too.

    Thanks for visiting,

    Leon

  • Very nice music!!

    Thank you for posting it.

    Diego

  • @diealocan - Thank you Diego for visiting.

    Leon

  • Terrific tune and performance, Leon! When will you and Diane treat us to a duet?

    Lorna

  • @accordiona - Thank you Lorna. Remember that vArranger2 is doing most of the work. Diane is currently half way through Book 1 of Palmer-Hughes. We both practice together, but it will be a while before she is confident enough to make a video. She is progressing well, but she needs more time. She is enjoying it, and that is the important thing.

  • Bravo! Bravo ! Bravo!

  • @6Heureka - Thank you Jochen. I'm happy that you like this electronic technique of making music.

    Leon

  • Hi Leon --love that smaller accordion --that's what I need--great sound and you played that lovely !

  • @NancyMbWpg - Yes, the smaller size of Diane's accordion if a real advantage. Diane is very happy with it. I still love my FR-7, but at the same time I admit that Diane's FR-3 is much easier to handle. And as you say, it's got great sound.

    Leon

  • Nice job my friend.... music and making it is so much fun... congratulations.

  • @daddymagz - Thank you Dave. Nice to hear from you.

    Leon

  • Brilliant leon

Would that tune be red roses for a blue lady?

    Keep them coming

    Godbless

    Kev

  • @Accordionman331 - Actually the tune is "Blue Velvet", but it sound close to "Red Roses for a Blue Lady", doesn't it?

  • Very nice Leon. This midi accompaniment would be so good for entertaining in venues, certainly it would take a lot of pressure off the player having to make up their own rhythms from manually playing bass.

You look as if you are having fun, which is quite understandable. Can't comment on the actual accordion voice, as you say, it is equal to your FR-7, but I do like the whole sound achieved.

  • @ImaLanger - I agree that playing with an arranger takes the performance pressure off by simplifying the bass requirement. I press a chord button only when chord changes are specified in the music, which typically is one or two measures (bars) away. This gives me extra time to find the next button. Thus it allows a person at my level to enjoy playing more embellished music, which inspires me to further improve my playing skill.

  • `¡¡Que lindo!!....gran contenido rítmico y muy bien ejecutado León

    Saludos

    Marieli

  • @mlasagabaster - Gracias Marieli para su estímulo.

    León

  • Lovely jazzy vibes my friend! It's great to see the arranger next to you as in screen :D.

    ~ Iskandar

  • @28iAD77 - Thank you Iskandar for your encouragement.

    Leon
