Probably one of the most ground-breaking roller coasters of it's time. I remember the first time i rode it, and all my friends said it was "Too slow" and "Too lame", but they didn't understand the absolute importance of this ride. Without taking a chance and making the swinging cart, where would roller coasters be today? There probably would not have been many greats like there are now! R.I.P the BBW, you were always #1 on my list!
I loved this ride which I rode on about 14 years ago.I also rode one just like it at Magic Mountain in Calif called The Ninja. Its sad both rides are gone.
I just started to ride rollercoasters in 2010. I am sad that i did not get a chance to ride it. All you big bad wolf fans out there i hear ya. I am going to always miss that coaster as one of the greats... I will ride it in my dreams and on youtube. thanks for the video.
this coaster wasn't bad! but it wasn't that great! sure it was the first! but top gun, and iron dragon top this! this techno is outdated! sure it is good for clasic fun! and i wouldn't be suprised if knoebles would open up a coaster like this in 20 years! the park brings backs extinct rides like the classic ring carousel, the salt and pepper shakers, the traditional haunted house, the multi (switch back chain lift coaster, and many more! wate for 20 years and you will see one at knoebles!
this coaster had the best theme i ever bin on that was out doors. besides incredible hulk.
this coaster wasn't an amazing ride, but it did have some great theme that covered it. which made it a great coaster! i swear we should boycott bush gardens for this! first this, then corkscrew hill, then taking away that great irish show in the abby stone theater! was there anything they did right this off season?! kings domininon is offically the place to be!
It may not be much of a ride but this ride is a classic all they needed to do was get new carts new pieces of track motors and crap tht would have made it bettr
@Funnyface28 Scorpion is still there. They took out Python. And they take out the rides for a reason. Big Bad Wolf's supports were getting weak and it was a safety issue so they took the ride down
@ATLYoungJeezyFan07 I'd imagine they probably wouldn't pull Nessie any time soon. Corkscrew coasters are still in production, so parts are easy to find, which would make repairs and upkeep much easier and cheaper, so Nessie should be pretty safe for now (I hope). Suspended coasters aren't being made anymore, so parts are hard to come by, making upkeep much more expensive, and it is for this reason that BGW shut it down. Bullsh*t reason in my opinion.
