i always kill the fire bulborb with 50 reds and then build the bridge back to the base,at the same time i take louie with 30 whites to the other end of the bridge then i split the pikmin. Red work on the berries and kill other enemies and whites knock down the wall

im with the yellows at the middle of the day and can use the other half to make loads of yellows and get the bottle opener near the yellow onion

You were supposed to take red pikmin only, because they are resistant to fire, meaning they could have killed the huge fire bulborb. But it was pretty cool how you snuck past it

@cutthemac It is Earth, but very very very very very very very very very very very very very extremely far in the future, when all the creatures have evolved, the land has changed (some), and humans either are extinct or have moved to another planet, but man made items have somehow been preserved and transfered to underground and stuff.

@The7CuteKittens I would imagine this game takes place minorly in the future, since food is still preserved in Glutton's Kitchen. Everyone knows that there are many, many, MANY insects in the world, and that they majorly outnumber humans. I think some huge wordly disaster occured, and all larger creatures died and insects still lived. That must be why nothing is more than 1 foot tall in this game.

@1red2blue4 yeah, I kinda rethought my theory because of the food thing. But that is another very possible explination. But how are the insects different? The evolving process would take a long time, and food would've decomposed by then. But on the other hand, the Worldly disaster you said could've been some nuclear bomb or something that could've mutated the insects. There's a world of theories.....

It's probably a good idea to leave at least one of the red blue and yellow pikmin in their onions so that if all the others die, the pikmin of that color won't go exstinct

this is an awesome game. The yellows, yeah im saying this, sucked in Pikmin one, they were only good for bombing things. Then again, they r a lot better in 2 as they are immune to electricity and plus you didn't have to throw them high very often, but now you do!

to get blue pikmin go to awakening woods use your go up that path that leads to the white flower garden instead of going to the right for the whole keep going strait on the back aways there will be 5 blue pikmin fighting wogpoles.

@rsdobbo09 That's not all. Why does nobody know that white pikmin poison enemies when eaten? When I used to be conservative about losing purple pikmin, I would feed a white pikmin to orange bulborbs. Sadly I think this is the most valuable way to use this ability. It deals about half to full damage to bulborbs. Don't try this with snagrets, though. Your results won't be pretty.

no, if that were the case then the same thing would have happened in pikmin 1, they can't pick up the bombrocks in this game cause they are bigger than in the first. There is really no difference for the pikmin here, the only reason electricity in yellows wasn't discovered earlier was because there wasn't any need for electric-proof pikmin, and there was nothing to let olimar know about that trait, olimar only learned about the pikmin in 1 by observing them, leaving several hidden abilities.

yes u did, they r no longer a no hazard resistant pikmin tht can carry bomb rocks, they are able to withstand the worst hazard in this game...electricity, GOD i hate it, it kills ur pikmin instantly
