@NostalgiaBob - firs ttime Iheard this song on the radio I thought it was a Beatle song I had yet to encounter. This is one of my favorite Harrison songs. I play it whenever I'm blue so I, too, can have a "head filled with light."
.... come on , I love your stuff on Ebay, but it is not fair to make all these amateurs believe, that this is a harrison demo,... you have to clearly tell them that it is YOUR fiddling around,..come on

Sounds incredible! I still remember the first time I heard "Blow Away" on the radio back in high school on the radio. I was hooked immediately.
Love the whole album.

Didn't know about this - great that you've shared it (and even better that I've found it before W_ _ _ er Brothers got their evil claws on it!)

Very nice demo. The video shows just how indifferent to current styles and trends when George made it in the late 70's I believe.

Late 80s

No. It is late '70's. I just checked it on Wikipedia. It's off the album titled "George Harrison".

Yes you're right. You shouldn't have even checked, it's my own stupidity. I'm thinking of Cloud 9 because of all the clouds and stuff in the video

No problem, amigo.
Nice album, Cloud 9.

I think Jeff Lynne left too much of a mark on it though.

Correct, actually it was late 1979, but the song hit the Billboard charts in January 1980 :D

Incredibly, George was never fond of the simplicity of the lyric and chords .... and yet, one of his absolute best solo recordings! We miss you GH!
