i thought the 1st transmittion from fdny radio that day was from joseph piefer saying we have a number of floors on fire it looks like the plane was aming towards the building transmitt a 3rd alarm and have a staging area at vesy and west street?

all rescues ended up going i think rescue 5 was told to relocate to rescue 1 but when the second plane hit they were assigned to the south tower i think

wow at about 4.09 they ask how many rescue units and the chief says send all but one.That choice saved lives.God bless FDNY
