the way i retrieve my boat if it gets stuck or stalls, I have a tennis ball on the end of my fishing pole and a small hook on the bough of the boat, if it stalls or gets stuck in some way Isimply cast the ball towards the boat and it catches it, you can usally cast it with in radio range of the boat.

from my brc boat racing exp. i would say 65-75 mph..out rigger boats are the fastest style of rc.. i had an old prather outrigger 60. size motor and it ran 73 mph..
