Dsw, don't forget. Hotchkis Racing has been racing this car since the 80's. By far the most experience with these cars. Hotckis was given the team nickname the " Flying Fossils " in the early 90's . Not sure by who.it is truly earned now. Old air cooled car running against the factory cars in the 24 hours races. Finishing up on the podium. Definitely had a blast working for Hotckis Racing. Thanks for the opportunity!
This video brings back some fantastic memories. I just turned 18 and out of High School. I was lucky enough to work for Hotchkis Racing. Thanks OJ, YJ, Skip,Ron,Graham,Jeff, and who could forget Jerry. The truck drive aka Stretch.
Excellent, thanks for posting. The 962s are beasts. Once the tires got warm the 10-year newer RS Spyders couldn't keep up. I clocked one at Laguna at the Porsche 60th during the Rolex Reunion on a fairly open track at 1:23. Wicked fast.
I love the pedal action from the "foot cam". Thanks so much for posting this. It's a great way to get a speed fix when I am chained to my desk! Watch out when M. Hotchkis is at the helm. I have yet to see him choke. He is always smoking on the track.
I'm so glad I got to see this car in action. One of the best looking race cars of all time in my opinion, and that's why the first picture shown in the video of the Hotchkis 962 is currently my desktop background. One of my all-time favorites. Looking forward to more footage of historic Porsches from the Rennsport Reunion IV. Thanks for the video :D
Between this and the recent Stohr video from the Apex guys, I'm getting pretty well sold on these little cameras! Hope you guys make lots of mounts because my brothers' cars are getting some neat Xmas presents this year!
Brilliant Work- Both with the filming/ editing and also the driving skill displayed by Mr. Hotchkis! I was there in person and more than surprised how well he was able to keep up with the much newer spyders given the difference in grip and downforce and nature of this track. Bravo!

This is why I absolutely love Porsche. They f$?^ing push all out all the time. No pussyfooting around. No other car maker does this.

some balls putting these cars in the same field, you can see the straight line performance and grip mismatches, and those are some expensive cars!

I can't believe I missed this event... Is Rennsport Reunion every three years? ='(
Anyways, enjoyed this. The camera angles were great and I didn't think they really pushed historical cars like that.
