Until then, though, all we can do is pray for those persecuted souls in Iran.
Moving and totally true presentation that obviously infuriates those who not having studied the Baha'i writings, are intoxicated by the slandering propaganda of the clergy who having failed to silence the Baha'is by exiling them to the Ottman and Palestine (now Israel) in 1868, are helplessly witnessing the end of their power.
people dont fall for this act. Bahai's the great majority of them atleast all have an underlying agenda, they will give you the idea that they are peace loving and embracing and honest people but that is far from the truth. Dont believe me get to know I mean really know some of them like I did and you will see what kind of people they truly are
i have many bahai friends woderful peaceful people. they are misunderstood immensly even i know very little about their faith having said that, however the great majority of bahais in Iran are disgraceful people looking only to convert people and gain power, not to mention constantly spying on the country for you know who. some of them are grand people the vast majority steer clear from because they're always trying to recruit.
again, this sort of rhetoric is absolute propaganda put out by the evil Islamic Republic. The Bahais in Iran are not seeking to "turn" anyone against their beliefs, and to imply they are spies for the US or Israel (as you insinuate,) is a lie. What kind of power are they trying to gain when they have none?
Death to the Islamic Republic and to the vile animals who run it
rubbish, utter rubbish. if its not a cult explain the bizzarre behaviour of bahais all over the world, if they're not spies for Israel why the larger than life temple in Haifa? look say what you want ive lived in Iran and I know these people, they have an agenda, very nice on the outside, nasty and caniving on the inside. by the way the Islamic revolution saved Iran whether you like to admit it or not.
your ignorance is laughable! The Bahai's started building their temples on Mt. Carmel before the state of Israel ever existed!! It was Palestine!!! They never became involved in the politics of the region and they are not spies of Israel! I'm so sorry your mind is too small to comprehend that. I lived in Iran too, and the only conniving people are the dirty mullahs. The Islamic revolution destroyed a beautiful country, and it will fall soon
you have some serious mental problems. i suggest getting them looked at. form what i see it's delusional schizophrenia. you think i'm an israeli spy???? lol!!!!! WOW! what a moron!
Its better for you to learn to speak with some respect to others, however I dont blame you, you must be of the alleged bahai faith who know nothing of tolerance, respect or humanity, perhaps bahai's should practice what they preach if they were truly genuine and not just scheming folk with a hidden agenda.
It is those who claim to be muslim in Iran who have no tolerance or respect. You are the ones who disrespect women, torture the innocent, and force your barbaric agenda on the innocent. The government of Iran is a disgrace to Islam, and so are you. I pray the God may forgive you someday. Oh and I know of a GREAT psychiatrist. PLEASE go to one!
rubbish, you speak utter rubbish, dont change the subject, the bahai are a cult whether you like to admit it or not. they are involved in some bizzarre activity particularly in their small community groups they establish everywhere they go. extremely dodgy and shady characters the lot of them, oh by the way this is the thought of a great number perhaps the majority of iranians in Iran and abroad from all religios backgrounds, so how about you open your eyes and ears and shut your mouth
The thing that is rubbish is what comes out of your mouth. The only thing the world has a consensus of is is how inhuman people like you and that joke of an Iranian government is. You, just like Khomeini, and like Khameini, are savages. You represent nothing but hate, anger, and lies. If anything the people of Iran know, and that the world knows is that your time is coming to an end.
You ignorance, is again, amusing. The Bahai's are not a cult. And I am absolutely confused at what "bizarre" activity you speak of. Obviously you can't point to specific examples because you speak without substance. You spit venom and lies. The only people who view the Bahai's as "Dodgy," are themselves the most ignorant and uneducated of society. Based on your tone and language, you are not educated or intelligent. I guess that's why you support the mullahs and believe their lies.
I can tell by your tone that you are a bahai or if not you clearly support this cult, and it very much is a cult. I dont need any mullah to tell me that. I figured that out myself. And for your information i am very learned perhaps not on the bahai cult but that's something i'm working on.
Ok. Whatever you want to believe, go ahead and believe. I can't change that. You either must have had some very negative experiences, or you are basing your views on false information. FYI, I am not a Baha'i, but I support the Bahai's. They are a very peaceful people who do not get themselves involved in politics, divisive practices, or anything of the sort. I'm sorry you, for some reason, have a different experience. You still haven't provided me with any examples.
It's become clear to me that you actually probably dont know many bahais becuase you wouldnt be saying that if you knew them. They very much get involved in politics and very dodgy and cult-like behaiviour in they're little community groups where mind you no-one is allowed unless you're in thier little circle. All I have to say is dont rubbish other people's beliefs becuase i dont, as i said b4 bahai principles are sound and peaceful. the islamic revolution and khomeini saved Iran
It sounds as if u have a hate issue over humanity, obviously u live in the west, but u brag about khomeini saving iran, then why dont you go back. stop spreading hate about others that you know so little about. i can assure u that they are not a cult, they have their own beliefs, which is about peace and diversity in the world. Everyone is welcome to attend their gatherings, so why dont you contact your country's bahai' community, unless ur afraid to admit to the truth.
far from the truth friend, i have attended their gatherings and was impressed it was quite a spiritual experience, however i was asked to leave because there was a private meeting following it, where i found out that some scandalous activity was going on. yes i do live in the west, out of choice i left Iran as a baby and have grown up here, however i will never rubbish my own country or anyone's genuine religious beliefs, i do however have an issue with cults and underground groups.
The baha'i faith is a religon just like any other religion, the baha'is you met may have made it seem cultlike to you, but you cannot judge the religion by judging the people, people are not perfect and wont always satisfy you. You must investigate for yourself instead of using other people to justify your resentment.
Thanks for bringing that up. I thought to myself perhaps it's just this group of individuals, they happen to have a group at my university which i attended and guess what??? on top of that all of my friends and aquaintances iranian and non-iranian agree with me. Besides if 'bahai' is a faith who is their prophet where is it written that they have a prophet ?? when you can find out let me know good luck to you..
And if the Baha'i faith was simply a cult, people would not be sacrificing their lives in Iran to this day. The baha'is in Iran are sacrificing their lives for the love of Baha'u'llah's writings, which stand for love, and peace of mind for all mankind. That's a pretty cult-like message, isn't it?
Thanks for bringing that up. I thought to myself perhaps it's just this group of individuals, they happen to have a group at my university which i attended and guess what??? on top of that all of my friends and aquaintances iranian and non-iranian agree with me. Besides if 'bahai' is a faith who is their prophet where is it written that they have a prophet ?? when you can find out let me know good luck to you..
Baha'u'llah, messenger of light. You are overlooking the good intentions and I suggest you reevaluate your opinions about the baha'i faith when you are not judging an entire religion basedon the few people you have spoken to.There are a lot of baha'is you haven't met.The fact that you are backing up your argument with more arguments from more people, who again, are not the faith in it's entirety, tells me that your argument has no merit other than that of your own, unobjective and bias mindset.
ive got nothing against bahais personally but i hold this so called bahulaa in the same regard as joseph smith or tom cruise. and answer me one question why is he buried in haifa??
Bahaullah wasnt buried in Haifa (he is buried in Akka). For your interest, there are numerous references to Akka in the Qur'an.
The Bab and AbdulBaha are the ones who are buried in Haifa (on Mount Carmel).
This has been one of the greatest "ammunition" for those who oppose the Bahai faith, claiming the since the Bahai holy shrines are in Haifa then they must be Zionists! And again as above, there are numerous refernces to mount carmel in the Torah, Bible, Qur'an...
Because Baha'u'llah pitched a tent at the bottom of the mountain and felt it was a very spiritual place. Unless it is some sort of zionist conspiracy, but I doubt it.
How is Baha'u'llah at all the same as Joseph Smith and Tom Cruise??
Neither of them suffered to the degree of intensity that Baha'u'llah had, and neither of them had the same profound effect that Baha'u'llah had on the hearts and minds of those that encountered Him. I don't know what you've studied about the life of Baha'u'llah, but that statement tells me that you don't know a lot. You might want to re evaluate that as well.
Why destroy cemetries, dead Baha'is are also spies??? And spies for which country? If the Baha'is wanted to gain power in Iran, the first step would be to become agents of the government in place, and proclaim loudly their allegiance to the regime, as most Iranians are doing, not by announcing opinions different from those now exercising power. You say you know little about their Faith; why not investigate for yourself instead of spreading the official propaganda? May God guide your research!
The previous comment was in response to Mike9208's "Kool aid" comment. The Baha'i Faith is not a cult.
At it's core, the Baha'i belief is the unity of all humankind, acceptance of all, social justice, and devotion to god. Period. Now...What cult can claim that???
As far as the Iranian government is concerned, they have used the Bahai's as scapegoats for the last 150 years. Just like the Nazis did with the Jews...who incidentally did NOT...repeat...NOT declare war on the Germans!!!!
this is such a sad video i am a baha'i and two of my cousins have been thrown in jail and killed because of being a bahai. i just wish that one day all the religon's could accept eacth other.
this was a good video to show the life's of bahai's. it made me cry.
Allah'u"Abha Alexandra...well done. Thank you. This is no vile accusation. This is a factual presentation supported by an investigation by the United Nations. The president of Iran has stated that the Baha'i Faith is not a "politically recognised" religion therefore the government can require that, to participate in the social fabric of their own country, the Baha'is must subscribe to one of the accepted faiths. I find it intriguing that someone has to justify their beliefs any more.
This is what the Romans did to the first Christians. And today, all Kings call themsleves "Christians". the same will happen to the Bahai Faith. If it was not divine, the Ayatollahs would not fear for their jobs as they do.They all were defeated by Bahaullah. The Ayatollahs are mere humans. Fallible and misleading the Iranian people, just as the jewish Rabbis mislead the Jews when Jesus came. God´s Will will prevail.
I'm a Baha'i from France, and it's a fact that Bahai students are being persecuted in Iran. It's not even a religious question here, it's a question of Human Rights, or lack of them, really. Human Rights Watch & the UN have made multiple articles about this issue.
Bahá'u'lláh claimed to be nothing less than a new and independent Messenger from God. His life, work, and influence parallel that of Abraham, Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Christ, and Muhammad. Bahá'ís view Bahá'u'lláh as the most recent in this succession of divine Messengers.>>>>>>> WTF???
In THE BAHÁ'ÍS MAGAZINE, I just read: "In just over 100 years, the Bahá'í Faith has grown from an obscure movement in the Middle East to the second-most widespread of the independent world religions. Embracing people from more than 2,100 ethnic, racial and tribal groups, it is quite likely the most diverse organized body of people on the planet. Its unity challenges prevailing theories about human nature and the prospects for our common future..."
The Baha'i Faith has always been considered as a Religion, as different from Islam that Christianity is different from Judaism or Bouddhism different from Hindouism. There is a judgment by an Egyptian Islamic court in the 1920's that confirms the above statement.
It never was considered nor as a Cult nor as a political movement.
Last December, the United Nations General Assembly voted with a remarkable majority a Resolution on the human rights situation. This mentioned in very strong terms the Baha'is in Iran. What the International Community want for this largest religious minority (about 300000 to 350000 persons in this land out of a membership of more than 5 million throughout the world) is the complete emancipation of their civil, cultural, social rights in Iran just like any other Iranian citizen. What about it ?
to all those Iranians who support the I.R. or believe that they are on your side: Please go to Wikipedia search for "history of fundementalist islam in Iran" then scroll down to the section titled "Islamic Republic & De-Iranianisation Policy". Ofcourse if you believe in this regime maybe this IS what you want? Long Live Free IRAN
To Those who visit this video clip. please know this:
why do you think Iranians respect their Iranian Jewish counterpart. but frown on Baha'i faith and try to stamp it out???
there is very simple reason for that. it's because Baha'i is not a religion but a Cult. just like the Cult started by Pastor Jim Jones who gave the world Jonestown, Guyana, for those who are old enough to remember what happened in 1978 in Guyana, know what I'm talking about.
Just as the Meccans tried to kill the Prophet Muhammad and His followers, thinking of Him as simply a rival chief. They worried about tribal power, not realizing that this force was beyond that. It was a force that united previously warring people together to worship God.
Those who lived at the time of Jesus, if they listened to their leaders, thought that this indescribable essence of love was a cult and political movement. It was those who looked with their own eyes that saw reality.
Hateful comments like that have been directed toward every Divine Messenger.
Just as Christ was crucified by the leaders of His time, labeled as a misguided leader, mocked and misunderstood, and brutal accusations and attacks were made on Christians to wipe out Christianity. The leaders worried about their own power, but the true Kingdom was in heaven, a place undefined by political and geographic boundaries.
the baha'i faith is a religion just like any other. it is, almost by definition, not a cult. even mahmoud ahmadinejad refers to it as a religion. the iranian government would not deny a mere cult basic human rights. every major world religion starts out trying to be stopped. it is a cycle that's been going on for thousands of years.
these people are being fooled. but are too hateful of Iranian government to see that they are following their leaders who sooner or later are going to ask them to drink the kool-aid.
Also, why is it that Baha'is can only speak out against persecution of other Baha'is in the Middle-East, but if it were anyone else, it would be considered "getting involved in politics...?" Very fuzzy...
There's a difference between creating anti-Iran propoganda, and peacefully asking for your right to education through the utilization of the United Nations Human Rights organization.
If you look at any of the OFFICIAL Baha'i websites or documents that discuss the denial of University education to the Baha'is in Iran, you wont find ANY hint of anti-Iran sentiments or propoganda. If you've seen some, i'd like to know what it said.
If you're going to speak out, then just speak out. Don't say you are avoiding politics and then have other people do your work for you. For one, no one is going to fall for that trick. No one is going to think that one day all of these non-Baha'is just started getting interested in the persecution of Baha'is just because...
Now, I am not saying that people should not have the right to expose human rights abuses. But be honest about it. Don't say "We don't get involved in politics", and then encourage your members (especially college students) to get their non-Baha'i friends to speak out against Iran on your behalf.
We are not active in party politics, but we are active politically, because "politics" means "people". Our aim: unity of the whole planet, spiritually and politically, reflecting its rich diversity - not uniformity nor conformity.
What I find most intriguing is that Baha'is say they don't get involved in partisan politics and will not say a bad word about any government or leader, yet they have started a campaign of anti-Iranian government propaganda nearly three years ago.
In 1933, Jews declared war on the Germans. Germans defended themselves against the threat from Jews in Germany. The Jews lost. They call it their "Holocaust". But loyal Bahais never declared war on Iran. So this is true religious persecution.
My impression of the situation of the Bahá'ís in Iran are similar to the rights of Arfican-Americans in the deep south prior to the 1970's... until certain laws were passed and the Constitution of the United States was amended Arfican-Americans were not allowed that same freedoms as European-Americans.... And for the Bahá'ís in Iran their situation is like the caged nightingale.
Hello, Javed. You ask a fair question. As Bahais, we believe this Cause to be from God. By putting forth efforts for it, one can only trust that God has the power to establish truth. Baha'u'llah states: "Wert thou now to exert thyself, the truth of this Cause would be made apparent unto mankind." The aim of Bahais is NOT to force beliefs, but to hopefully help others who are interested reflect and decide for themselves. Thanks for the question =)
Teachings of the Bahai Faith already *has* attracted masses of people, its the second most widespread religion in the world. The reason you ask? Becuase it is a peaceful religion and is focuses on the unity of mankind.
Beautiful and unfortunately so true. Hundreds of students are refused high school training yet they do not protest. The whole world should raise to help them.
Pray for them, they deserve it and our love and aid and assistance. It could happen to YOU!!!
I cried once imagining i had no rights and not considered like a human being.. I can't imagine the weight of what the Bahaïs in Iran are feeling, but i know it's a lot worse!
Greetings from our country! More Power!

you have some serious mental problems. i suggest getting them looked at. form what i see it's delusional schizophrenia. you think i'm an israeli spy???? lol!!!!! WOW! what a moron!
nfunk79 4 years ago
Its better for you to learn to speak with some respect to others, however I dont blame you, you must be of the alleged bahai faith who know nothing of tolerance, respect or humanity, perhaps bahai's should practice what they preach if they were truly genuine and not just scheming folk with a hidden agenda.
mastercaresecurity 4 years ago
It is those who claim to be muslim in Iran who have no tolerance or respect. You are the ones who disrespect women, torture the innocent, and force your barbaric agenda on the innocent. The government of Iran is a disgrace to Islam, and so are you. I pray the God may forgive you someday. Oh and I know of a GREAT psychiatrist. PLEASE go to one!
nfunk79 4 years ago 2
rubbish, you speak utter rubbish, dont change the subject, the bahai are a cult whether you like to admit it or not. they are involved in some bizzarre activity particularly in their small community groups they establish everywhere they go. extremely dodgy and shady characters the lot of them, oh by the way this is the thought of a great number perhaps the majority of iranians in Iran and abroad from all religios backgrounds, so how about you open your eyes and ears and shut your mouth
mastercaresecurity 4 years ago
The thing that is rubbish is what comes out of your mouth. The only thing the world has a consensus of is is how inhuman people like you and that joke of an Iranian government is. You, just like Khomeini, and like Khameini, are savages. You represent nothing but hate, anger, and lies. If anything the people of Iran know, and that the world knows is that your time is coming to an end.
Death to the Mullahs
nfunk79 4 years ago 2
You ignorance, is again, amusing. The Bahai's are not a cult. And I am absolutely confused at what "bizarre" activity you speak of. Obviously you can't point to specific examples because you speak without substance. You spit venom and lies. The only people who view the Bahai's as "Dodgy," are themselves the most ignorant and uneducated of society. Based on your tone and language, you are not educated or intelligent. I guess that's why you support the mullahs and believe their lies.
nfunk79 4 years ago 2
I can tell by your tone that you are a bahai or if not you clearly support this cult, and it very much is a cult. I dont need any mullah to tell me that. I figured that out myself. And for your information i am very learned perhaps not on the bahai cult but that's something i'm working on.
mastercaresecurity 4 years ago
You still haven't provided me with any examples.
nfunk79 4 years ago 3
It's become clear to me that you actually probably dont know many bahais becuase you wouldnt be saying that if you knew them. They very much get involved in politics and very dodgy and cult-like behaiviour in they're little community groups where mind you no-one is allowed unless you're in thier little circle. All I have to say is dont rubbish other people's beliefs becuase i dont, as i said b4 bahai principles are sound and peaceful. the islamic revolution and khomeini saved Iran
mastercaresecurity 4 years ago
It sounds as if u have a hate issue over humanity, obviously u live in the west, but u brag about khomeini saving iran, then why dont you go back. stop spreading hate about others that you know so little about. i can assure u that they are not a cult, they have their own beliefs, which is about peace and diversity in the world. Everyone is welcome to attend their gatherings, so why dont you contact your country's bahai' community, unless ur afraid to admit to the truth.
masontyson 4 years ago 2
far from the truth friend, i have attended their gatherings and was impressed it was quite a spiritual experience, however i was asked to leave because there was a private meeting following it, where i found out that some scandalous activity was going on. yes i do live in the west, out of choice i left Iran as a baby and have grown up here, however i will never rubbish my own country or anyone's genuine religious beliefs, i do however have an issue with cults and underground groups.
mastercaresecurity 4 years ago
The baha'i faith is a religon just like any other religion, the baha'is you met may have made it seem cultlike to you, but you cannot judge the religion by judging the people, people are not perfect and wont always satisfy you. You must investigate for yourself instead of using other people to justify your resentment.
elnavmick 3 years ago 2
Thanks for bringing that up. I thought to myself perhaps it's just this group of individuals, they happen to have a group at my university which i attended and guess what??? on top of that all of my friends and aquaintances iranian and non-iranian agree with me. Besides if 'bahai' is a faith who is their prophet where is it written that they have a prophet ?? when you can find out let me know good luck to you..
mastercaresecurity 3 years ago
And if the Baha'i faith was simply a cult, people would not be sacrificing their lives in Iran to this day. The baha'is in Iran are sacrificing their lives for the love of Baha'u'llah's writings, which stand for love, and peace of mind for all mankind. That's a pretty cult-like message, isn't it?
elnavmick 3 years ago 2

Baha'u'llah, messenger of light. You are overlooking the good intentions and I suggest you reevaluate your opinions about the baha'i faith when you are not judging an entire religion basedon the few people you have spoken to.There are a lot of baha'is you haven't met.The fact that you are backing up your argument with more arguments from more people, who again, are not the faith in it's entirety, tells me that your argument has no merit other than that of your own, unobjective and bias mindset.
elnavmick 3 years ago
ive got nothing against bahais personally but i hold this so called bahulaa in the same regard as joseph smith or tom cruise. and answer me one question why is he buried in haifa??
mastercaresecurity 3 years ago
Bahaullah wasnt buried in Haifa (he is buried in Akka). For your interest, there are numerous references to Akka in the Qur'an.
The Bab and AbdulBaha are the ones who are buried in Haifa (on Mount Carmel).
This has been one of the greatest "ammunition" for those who oppose the Bahai faith, claiming the since the Bahai holy shrines are in Haifa then they must be Zionists! And again as above, there are numerous refernces to mount carmel in the Torah, Bible, Qur'an...
PleasantPenguin 3 years ago
my mistake... Bahaullah is buried in Bahji (near Akka)
PleasantPenguin 3 years ago
Because Baha'u'llah pitched a tent at the bottom of the mountain and felt it was a very spiritual place. Unless it is some sort of zionist conspiracy, but I doubt it.
elnavmick 3 years ago

Soon, the Iranian Government will refuse to allow other kids to go to University, not just Bahai kids.

PeterJDeer 4 years ago 5
In THE BAHÁ'ÍS MAGAZINE, I just read: "In just over 100 years, the Bahá'í Faith has grown from an obscure movement in the Middle East to the second-most widespread of the independent world religions. Embracing people from more than 2,100 ethnic, racial and tribal groups, it is quite likely the most diverse organized body of people on the planet. Its unity challenges prevailing theories about human nature and the prospects for our common future..."
HaydarKhaneShirvan 4 years ago 3
The Baha'i Faith has always been considered as a Religion, as different from Islam that Christianity is different from Judaism or Bouddhism different from Hindouism. There is a judgment by an Egyptian Islamic court in the 1920's that confirms the above statement.
It never was considered nor as a Cult nor as a political movement.
HaydarKhaneShirvan 4 years ago 2
Last December, the United Nations General Assembly voted with a remarkable majority a Resolution on the human rights situation. This mentioned in very strong terms the Baha'is in Iran. What the International Community want for this largest religious minority (about 300000 to 350000 persons in this land out of a membership of more than 5 million throughout the world) is the complete emancipation of their civil, cultural, social rights in Iran just like any other Iranian citizen. What about it ?
HaydarKhaneShirvan 4 years ago 2
to all those Iranians who support the I.R. or believe that they are on your side: Please go to Wikipedia search for "history of fundementalist islam in Iran" then scroll down to the section titled "Islamic Republic & De-Iranianisation Policy". Ofcourse if you believe in this regime maybe this IS what you want? Long Live Free IRAN

To Those who visit this video clip. please know this:
why do you think Iranians respect their Iranian Jewish counterpart. but frown on Baha'i faith and try to stamp it out???
there is very simple reason for that. it's because Baha'i is not a religion but a Cult. just like the Cult started by Pastor Jim Jones who gave the world Jonestown, Guyana, for those who are old enough to remember what happened in 1978 in Guyana, know what I'm talking about.
mike9208 4 years ago
Just as the Meccans tried to kill the Prophet Muhammad and His followers, thinking of Him as simply a rival chief. They worried about tribal power, not realizing that this force was beyond that. It was a force that united previously warring people together to worship God.
Those who lived at the time of Jesus, if they listened to their leaders, thought that this indescribable essence of love was a cult and political movement. It was those who looked with their own eyes that saw reality.
AnUnbiasedEye 4 years ago 2
Hateful comments like that have been directed toward every Divine Messenger.
Just as Christ was crucified by the leaders of His time, labeled as a misguided leader, mocked and misunderstood, and brutal accusations and attacks were made on Christians to wipe out Christianity. The leaders worried about their own power, but the true Kingdom was in heaven, a place undefined by political and geographic boundaries.
AnUnbiasedEye 4 years ago 2
the baha'i faith is a religion just like any other. it is, almost by definition, not a cult. even mahmoud ahmadinejad refers to it as a religion. the iranian government would not deny a mere cult basic human rights. every major world religion starts out trying to be stopped. it is a cycle that's been going on for thousands of years.

these people are being fooled. but are too hateful of Iranian government to see that they are following their leaders who sooner or later are going to ask them to drink the kool-aid.
mike9208 4 years ago
You going to put an argument behind that or just make a vile accusation?
PeterJDeer 4 years ago 5
Also, why is it that Baha'is can only speak out against persecution of other Baha'is in the Middle-East, but if it were anyone else, it would be considered "getting involved in politics...?" Very fuzzy...
MatthewMuhammad 4 years ago
There's a difference between creating anti-Iran propoganda, and peacefully asking for your right to education through the utilization of the United Nations Human Rights organization.
If you look at any of the OFFICIAL Baha'i websites or documents that discuss the denial of University education to the Baha'is in Iran, you wont find ANY hint of anti-Iran sentiments or propoganda. If you've seen some, i'd like to know what it said.
sabaruzoo2002 4 years ago 5
Like I said, I think all people should have their inalienable rights, and this has nothing to do with defending the Iranian government. Far from it.
MatthewMuhammad 4 years ago
If you're going to speak out, then just speak out. Don't say you are avoiding politics and then have other people do your work for you. For one, no one is going to fall for that trick. No one is going to think that one day all of these non-Baha'is just started getting interested in the persecution of Baha'is just because...
MatthewMuhammad 4 years ago
Exactly,...
badem 3 years ago
Now, I am not saying that people should not have the right to expose human rights abuses. But be honest about it. Don't say "We don't get involved in politics", and then encourage your members (especially college students) to get their non-Baha'i friends to speak out against Iran on your behalf.
MatthewMuhammad 4 years ago
We are not active in party politics, but we are active politically, because "politics" means "people". Our aim: unity of the whole planet, spiritually and politically, reflecting its rich diversity - not uniformity nor conformity.
Damocles1919 4 years ago 2
What I find most intriguing is that Baha'is say they don't get involved in partisan politics and will not say a bad word about any government or leader, yet they have started a campaign of anti-Iranian government propaganda nearly three years ago.

In 1933, Jews declared war on the Germans. Germans defended themselves against the threat from Jews in Germany. The Jews lost. They call it their "Holocaust". But loyal Bahais never declared war on Iran. So this is true religious persecution.
Damocles1919 4 years ago
My impression of the situation of the Bahá'ís in Iran are similar to the rights of Arfican-Americans in the deep south prior to the 1970's... until certain laws were passed and the Constitution of the United States was amended Arfican-Americans were not allowed that same freedoms as European-Americans.... And for the Bahá'ís in Iran their situation is like the caged nightingale.

The teachings of Bahai faith is so common...it's Preached by HINDU holy men like Vivekanand,Ramakrishna,Chaitanna...
Is there any Bahai could tell me why ur religion is gng to attract people in mass.
javedmahmood 4 years ago
Hello, Javed. You ask a fair question. As Bahais, we believe this Cause to be from God. By putting forth efforts for it, one can only trust that God has the power to establish truth. Baha'u'llah states: "Wert thou now to exert thyself, the truth of this Cause would be made apparent unto mankind." The aim of Bahais is NOT to force beliefs, but to hopefully help others who are interested reflect and decide for themselves. Thanks for the question =)
