  • That looks easy to do its all down to the G cutter really, but why not use GPS linked to the steering to get a straight line and then you could even say that the half pipe is in the exact same position and shape every single year.

  • @ktutty Because civilian GPS systems are only accurate to ±10m. That is good enough for navigation but is not good enough for building something like this. Generally the halfpipes are in the same place in resorts. I know in Tignes France the halfpipe is carved into the mountain and can be seen all year round they then stack it with snow and build the walls higher.
