  • ive seen them live last month in birmingham uk his voice sounded wicked

  • who else notices the piano player?

  • eben d'amico is god

  • i love saves the day, but it looks like chris has make up on

  • @kustykash weird, why would a performer wear make-up

  • @trank31337 lots of guys wear make-up on television - more than you might think. why is this a "problem"?

  • @runnersdialzero333 i was kidding. also i never said it was a "problem"

  • @trank31337 u r a homophone imo

  • @runnersdialzero333 youre confused. first, a homophone is not what you think it is. look it up. second, saves the day is one of my favorite bands. i used to wear makeup to cover up zits. pay attention!!

  • @trank31337 I still DO wear makeup to cover zits! You're such a homophone!

  • @kustykash o no guys wearing makeup. end of the world imo.

  • @spicegirlsfan472 i was never being a genre faggot or anything i was telling a person who asked what genre this was. what genre it would be called.

  • @spicegirlsfan472 you told me to steer clear of being queer, so i figure if i steer clear of queers, like yourself, ill steer clear of being queer.

  • @spicegirlsfan472 okay ill steer clear of you.

  • @spicegirlsfan472 youre a cum spitting bitch, spice girls? really?

  • I love how J.K. points out they don't make any money. Because in this genre of music, these guys do it for themselves and for fans, not for money. It is like that with all bands like this, for instance, Geoff Rickly of Thursday stated he had to work a retail job in between touring just to make ends meet. It just goes to show how humble these dudes really are. Screw listening to rap stars etc who make millions for putting out music they probably didn't write anyway.

  • What genre is this

  • @link2217 alternative rock, indie, rock pop, and emo-but not like fall out boy/all time low, 90s/early 2000s emo

  • This, is a horrible band. He has a terrible voice, and should just stop singing altogether. I saw them live opening for SAy anything (who has gone so downhill I can't listen to them now) and MOtion city soundtrack (who are so great) and they are just awful!! Everyone wa so excited, so i expected something atleast satisfactory, but for 30 minutes i just wanted to stab myself in the ears. And yes, i only clicked it to bash, i hate it so much XD so don't say "if you diont like, dont listen,"

  • @skoolfailures Thats such a terrible thing to say. Chris is amazing, sure his voice is different than most but thats what makes him so special. He's doing what he loves and thats what is most important. And Say Anything has not gone downhill, their last allbum was incredible, as is anything Max does.

  • @skoolfailures I'm so sorry dude. But dude just chill, I've gone through many terrible sets too, but saying Saves The Day is terrible is acinine imo.

  • @skoolfailures if you dont like it dont listen. you should be thankful for saves the day as there would probably be no Say Anything or MCT without them. Chris Conley is more important to this style of music then you think. and to say MCT "are so great" and call saves the day a "horrible band" then maybe you should stab yourself in the ears. everyone is entltled to an opinion. but the FACT is SAVES THE DAY ARE AWESOME!!! and again if you dont like it then dont watch.

  • these guys were really good till they tried too hard to be weezer

  • @ajd8203 lol?

  • I Love THIS SONG !

  • i think he says they don't make any money because he's not sure if the singer has finished puberty or not yet...it's more of a legal matter than anything (sarcasm). are these guys still making new music? i listened to them all the time in high school

  • @fishooke i think kimmel was clowning on chris conley for playing a '54 tribute les paul custom that retails for around $6k. they must have been making something.

  • why does he say "these poor guys dont make any money"?

  • @broskihanNBD its kinda of a dbag thing to say, but its probably true

  • @jackeyrara yea its just odd that he said that

  • @broskihanNBD yeah jimmy kimmel said that because saves the day's not like the TOP 5 bands of mainstream rock, but it doesn't matter anyway, these guys were one of the founders of emo music anyway, and back in 2003, emo music was borderline underground/ mainstream music until screamo bands like the used and thrice started to surface.

  • @samsclub18 i don't think the used or thrice are screamo bands... anyhow i don't think saves the day necessarily founded emo. check out bands like cap'n jazz, braid, or the promise ring, they all came up before or around the time of saves the day and were part of the underground scene of midwest emo.

  • @glitterkittens but saves the day did have a hand in opening the door for the emo punk genre to go mainstream...

  • @glitterkittens Hey Mecedes>Braid. but every Kinsella band is phenomenal.

  • @broskihanNBD not to mention the most overrated and overplayed "emo" band of that time AFI...now see if AFI was on jimmy kimmel, i guarantee jimmy woudn't have said that, and AFI sucks.

  • @broskihanNBD they were a small band on a huge label "dreamworks" at the time. and didnt really live up to what they wanted..some shit like that

  • in reverie is there best album bar none, there early shit is good, but its just pop punk, this shit is something special

  • can anyone send me a message with other good saves the day songs?

  • @childfreeman check out any in reverie song, tomorrow's to late, she, and hit up rock tonic magic, freakish, firefly

    that should keep you going

  • I think Jimmy Kimel's musical guests are above all the rest. Anyone from Every time I die to Saves the Day. Awesome.

  • Another great song by Saves The Day. Not suprising!!!

  • this song isnt on itunes

  • That's odd. The entire album seems to be missing from iTunes.

  • @down4thecount1982 It's because of issues with Dreamworks.

  • boo yah I met these guys.. i saw them at a show in lincoln on march 6th. and got to chill and chat with some of them after the show,.

  • @chopsy61 Seriously? That was a great fucking show. Chris kept looking at me with batty eyes, he loves me.

  • Saves The Day are my favourite band saw them at last years soundwave in australia. for me they have got better with every album. cant wait for Daybreak to finally come out. the new line up sounds amazing live from the new videos. hope they come to the UK this year. Love this video

  • @jalk3 They're playing London in April with Sunny Day Real Estate

  • just found out and desperately needing tickets thanks.

  • Ur a moron... sounds nothing like that song..

  • Cant slow down - favorite album of all time

  • i know in reverie had a big change with his voice, but for some reason i like that album better than sound the alarm.

  • as far as i know

    silverstein's vocalist shane told

    loves saves the day

it's one of his inspirations in music

    that's why

i listened to this band now

    LOLX

  • Friggen A... I Might get to meet these guys in march :D

  • lucky man :)

  • hahaha

  • i can barely hear the guitar in the chorus

  • okay... i love Saves the Day but in their latest album under the boards Chris sounds like a girl... in this video he sounds like a man. a manly man. i love it.

  • He has a disease that messed up his vocal chords, i wanna say Chrons Disease?

  • eben's bass lines are ill

  • @lxlcantar

    hell yea

  • @lxlcantar they just follow the guitar..how are they "ill"

  • @lxlcantar so much bassssssssss<3

  • I think Jimmy Kimmel is a fan no?

  • his voice, in my opinon.. is much better here than in the newer recordings of two tongues with max.. still looking forward to the new saves the day album though

  • his voice is prob like that cuz its like a transition period for him singing wise

  • Love the song. Love the band.

The Blood Brothers vocals sounded off on this show too... maybe its the studio?

  • never heard his voice like this before...............strange.........but still good

  • i like his voice better live.

    less whiney

why couldn't it be more like this on two tongues? i don't think the the max/chris combination sounds very good on the album the way it is...

  • noooo, his voice sounds better in the albums...or other times when they've played live...never heard it like this.

  • ya i thought the exact same thing

  • what happend to his voice..

  • his balls dropped

  • who's balls? xD

  • Why is nobody agreeing with paulsic1985...

he's totally correct if you're gonna be honest with yourselves

  • slam this tight lil ass =]? U

  • In Reverie is such a beautiful album. Fuck anybody who doesn't think the same.

  • I totally agree.

  • @IBangHard I'm a huge saves the day fan, but i'm not a fan of that album. so are you saying fuck me, too? seems a little harsh. i can't stand people like you, because people like you ruin music and everything that it's good for, which is bringing people together through a common interest - not pushing people apart based on the principles of grumpy elitism.

  • thats cuz u r an asshole

  • Really? Honestly, if you're a fan, you're not going to put the cd down that bad. I personally think the album was a-fucking-mazing, but that's my opinion. You're entitled to your own, but damn, a little harsh, aren't we?

  • the singers cute!

  • Xdanith, you realize that this was taken in 2003 right? Just making sure.

  • oh he looks horrible these days...but his music is still the same...AMAZING

  • thats true STD will always be the shit, chris is a one man band.

  • FUCK YEAH THEY ROCK
