@serdnasocram yes i did acctually. but aparently u dont know that this beach does not have any seals what so ever, and it has a HUGE cut on his back full of bugs .
Whatever the seal was doing, the humans were only trying to help and they did no harm. If there was a cut on its back and it was getting infested with flies a dip in the briny sea would only serve to clean out its wound. Yay humans.
Uhh geniva, what if the poor guy was just resting? Then you come along and start poking it with sticks and he just wanted a nap all along. Or what if there was an Orca he was trying to escape from, then you just shove him right back into the jaws of the Killer whale? LOL, you know I'm only giving you a hard time, it was nice what you did. :)
@AnimalGuardian71 haha no, theres no Orcas where we live... Seals dont come to that beach, never. He was lost, he was washed to shore with the tide... He had a huge cut on his back which was getting infested with bugs.. the seagulls and the crows were circling around him... poor thing... he was there for hours ... its better off that we got him in the water then he would have stayed there with all the heartless people we have around here.... its ridiculous.. :(
@geniva10 - Aww, that was nice of you guys. That situation was probably the ONLY time in history where it IS appropriate to poke things with sticks :)
@AnimalGuardian71 oh, and we werent poking HIM, we were poking the sand around himrolling him closer to the sea.. because we knew he was hurt and e didnt wanna hurt him more.. :]
how do you know it was lifeless? it could have just been resting. evr thought of that?

cut on its back probably coulda used a little rinsing out anyway by the sounds of it. Lord knows the salt water would only help it heal.
