@baristha With religion also comes culture. The two can easily correlate. The culture brought by Hindus has its origins in South Asia, or India. Isn't that why the clothing of the Hindu Gods are so culturally Indian? With every religion, the culture of the geographical origin of that religion follows. It's simply the way it is. It's not that if you are Hindu you MUST exhibit the culture and tradition of Indians, but with most Asian Hindus that almost ALWAYS is the case, is it not?

@baristha So when you say "it does no harm.", it actually does. And this video is proof. To be honest, I wouldn't want to go to India and see Christian communities of whom the people are from Norway. It brings a culture into that area that doesn't seem to conform with the culture of India as a whole.

IMHO this results in segregation of children and in the longer run, cultural insulation. I do hope that religious teachings are not given pre-eminence over more secular education.

Moksha, Enlightenment is earned, not given or begged for, unlike Heaven. That's the essential differnece between the two. Getting to heaven is not that difficult, all a pedophile or a terrorist needs to do is to beg like a dog. He gets to enjoy heaven while his living victims live thru hell. Moksha is earned thru knowledge, and knowledge has to be earned, not given. A Teacher who gives pass marks to a failed student is not doing him a favor. Reach for the Higher goal, reach for Moksha.

They must teach Hindu values. Ours is a Teacher faith, Abrahamic religions are King religions - God made in the image of a King. God issues orders/commands. Subjects/slaves/servants kneel in front of their king cowering in fear awaiting his judgement. Hindus are students of God on the path to Moksha. Love & Respect God, but never fear God. Do not kneel in front of the Murti, dont' lower yourself to a slave/subject level. Karma & Rebirth makes it clear that we are responsible for our actions
