No it is not a hate crime. People are hanging nooses in their trees all over the land. There was a protest today about three nooses with dummy dolls hanging in a man's tree in front of his house today. The police were there and tonight the nooses are still hanging in the tree.

you obviously don't know the whole story. their whole jury is white when the population of the town is like 1/4 african american. and the students who hung the nooses only got a three day suspention. that is a hate crime and they should have gotten a lot more than that. i totally think that the Jena 6 committed a crime and they should have a fair trial for what they did but the white boys who hung the nooses got off easy.

thx for that. i had never heard about after the incident except for the fact that the boy they 'beat up' went to a social event after the incident. i totally agree what the black boys did was extremely wrong and all i am saying now is the jena six needs a fair trial for what they did. also the white kids got off a little easy.
