That piece took some serious-time to learn! And the best thing is... you played it with such feeling and it didn't seem like a bunch of memorized notes!
I quite like this one. I like the informal presentation. I like the lighting (a lot better than other vids) and I like the playing better.
As this is a study, this is probably a practice piece, and your familiarity with it shows.
The flow is very nice for the first couple of minutes. You can tell that you are getting fatigued through the last minute and a half and there's a tricky bit in there where things get a bit muddy in the arpeggios, but I still think it's very good overall.
I thought it must be the sound (Klange) of something or other... ... A river makes perfect sense - there must be some swiftly flowing currents in that river!
this. is. wonderful!

There's no alternate tuning, but a lot of open strings. If you like I'll send you the music (score).
Best wishes Michael

Question:
Do you have it set to an alternate tuning? It looks like you play alot of open strings. Curious minds want to know!

Michael Erni gets a "Listzian wall-of-sound" out of the guitar in this romantic piece. Excellent close ups of the right hand.
Only one question remains: what is the English translation of "Aareklänge"?

Of course, that makes perfect sense. Thanks.
