Early models of the F430 had a saftey issue in wich the engine bay would catch fire. this problem was eventually weeded out by the end of 2006.But still, if this was an '05 model, very great possibility of this occoring.

This Ferrari was bought here in the Philippines it cost around 17 million and another 1 million for the insurance. The cause of the fire is mechanical, an incompetent mechanic forgot to screw some parts that's why it went up in flames. Although it's insured the insurance company would not even gave you half of the money you spent on this car.
