He's right though. If there isn't traditions, where are our values, our morals and our purpose? Of course, to act, we have to have a baseline to act from, and that baseline is tradition.
Wow this aired in 2005? This is a parady about public messages regarding gay marriage, right? Was gay marriage ever really an issue in Canada? I don't remember there ever being any fuss over it.
Thats because they belong to the Government now ! Because you registered them at birth... Register means you give up title.youre just the baby sister or nanny / care giver............

Rick, like all true liberals hates the traditional family. He will take every opportunity to mock anyone that has views that oppose his.Hope he finds a man and settles down to a traditional gay family.Whatever that is.
That is a total classic. Way to go, Rick. Humour and satire is awesome when it comes to revealing ignorance and hypocrisy..... The problem is that so much of this crap is tied to religion...christianity....both in the US and Canada. That was the part left out here... I don't mean this as a putdown of all christians or their religion....but there is no doubt that the christian religion has been twisted by many into a tool for spreading ignorance, discrimination, stereotypes, and racism...

Homosexuals have equal rights just like everyone else in the country to marry someone of the opposite sex. They want SPECIAL RIGHTS so they can marry someone of the same sex just because of the way they do it.
Text caption is slightly off.... 0:46 with the caption on says "that not address for decades that's just brought up talk for the little pile next door." I know this channel's owners aren't directly responsible for this new transcription thing, but someone might as well bring it to your attention
bigotry? Don't think so, the book that was the blueprint for our society says that homosexuality is abomination. (Leviticus 20:13) and FYI equality is impossible to put into practice. Some people are white, others black, others yellow, some people are tall, others short, some have brown hair, others blond and red. You get where I'm going, one way or another someone is going to feel "discriminated" against just by the nature that not everyone can be right.
And try keeping every one of those people 100% happy and not offended. FYI Offense has now become a human right, people think that they have a human right to not be offended by anything.
Yeah because Leviticus teaches to kill all infidels and bomb the public....fool.
and your point? That scripture doesn't have anything to do with the abomination of homosexuality.
...Are you TRYING to make all religious people sound like raving lunatics?
Leviticus DOES order death to anyone who sleeps with a member of their own sex, commits adultery, has sex before getting married, eats shellfish, or even wears the wrong garmets -- I'd call that pretty Taliban-like.
Incidentally, The Gospel barely says anything about homosexuality, but it does focus on forgiveness and acceptance. So why don't you?
Clown, non of this is church teaching, it's the teaching of the bible and Christ. Applying critical thinking is what brings me to my opinion, critical thinking doesn't bring you to a default point of view.
How can you possibly be a critical thinker, yet not notice the rather glaring irrationality or immorality in what you preach?
Jesus didn't teach condemnation -- I already demonstrated how, and frankly if you actually cracked open The Gospel you'd find it for yourself in about a minute and a half.
The guy who spouts off the lefts agenda like a tape recorder is saying I am not a critical thinker. LOL
So if you're such a critical thinker (and I'm not?) tell me how critically thinking you can possibly come up with the exact same position on everything while exercising that critical thinking? Does every critical thinker come up with the exact same position?
I suppose you want all my tax dollars to line a bunch of lazy guys above working for a living via welfare right?
Get a life goofball. The bible has nothing to say about me calling you a clown for acting like an idiot. The guy who has a massive middle finger of fire for a thumbnail is criticizing my beliefs....crack me up dude!
Yer just a flaming liberal who hates anything conservative. Cite: YOUR VIDEOS
Says the Taliban sympathizer, man I should have checked your channel earlier, it's full of reasons your wrong. Go to Afghanistan and come talk to me....oh even better, take your liberal ideology and have a meeting with Osama Bin Laden and see if you walk out with your head on your shoulders....
@BoredomCorner c'mon dude, we all know the 2 reasons u have a head are a) you live in a "free" country and b) you wouldn't dare bring this trash to Afghanistan. Watch any 5mins of your videos and you see a prissy white guy complaining about "war crimes" that you are convinced Harper is responsible for. This makes you a taliban sympathizer.
I don't give a rats tail about how an islamic terrorist is treated, they didn't give much concern to "war crimes" when they used commercial jets as missiles.
@BoredomCorner *ahem* "A man who lies with another man is to be stoned" essentially. That's why I believe the 10 commandments and what Jesus said. "Love thy neighbor"
tradition is what got us into this mess to begin with

I don't notice those minute differences you describe -- I see only people. As should you.
If you really wanted to follow Leviticus fully, we'd be no different from the Taliban.
Finally, Jesus said -- among other things -- "That which you do unto the least of my brothers, you do unto me."
Try using some critical thinking -- contrary to church teaching, it won't kill you.
