bigotry? Don't think so, the book that was the blueprint for our society says that homosexuality is abomination. (Leviticus 20:13) and FYI equality is impossible to put into practice. Some people are white, others black, others yellow, some people are tall, others short, some have brown hair, others blond and red. You get where I'm going, one way or another someone is going to feel "discriminated" against just by the nature that not everyone can be right.

Leviticus DOES order death to anyone who sleeps with a member of their own sex, commits adultery, has sex before getting married, eats shellfish, or even wears the wrong garmets -- I'd call that pretty Taliban-like.

Incidentally, The Gospel barely says anything about homosexuality, but it does focus on forgiveness and acceptance. So why don't you?
