After he activated the cheat for max hearts he can turn it off and still have 20 hearts. Then if he grabs a Heart Container, he has an extra heart added to the second row. If the cheat is still on when he grabs it, he will NOT get an extra heart. If he activates the max hearts cheat with more than 20 hearts, he actually loses hearts. So if he collects all the Containers and Pieces, then puts on the cheat, there is NO WAY to get them back. I hope this made sense, but it probably didn't.
