  • 0:05 Angolos kiejtéssel: Szent Istváan Téerrr. jaj. facepalm :D

  • can i have the phone numb of the girl?

  • Two people's cars got stuck in the process

  • great parking system! really great engineering.

  • Very nice!!!

  • People in Budapest speak German? because the machine language is German.

Does not look like a very efficient system in rush hour. Because when you want to go back, you'll be just waiting for your car to be delivered and this could be a huge pile up on busy times.

  • @kinjat56

Some Hungarians know German. Also, you're forgetting the large amount of Austrian tourists/businessmen that visit Budapest. At any rate, if you were more attentive, you would have seen that the machine has three language options at the bottom right corner on the entry screen: Hungarian (default), German and English.

It is a very efficient system, if you were more attentive you would have realized this. It says that it can process up to 200 transactions in an hour, each at most 4min

  • Excellent parking system

  • nice girl, what company makes this system

  • @robbedoes1985 company name: woehr, its mentioned in 4.09s

  • how much it coast to park my car for 1 hour?

  • Lovely video and nice system of parking. Thanks for uploading.

  • Awesome

  • Budapest is very nice place to see, some parts are veryyyyyyyyybeautiful there, very peaceful city, chain bridge is very good palce to see.

  • wow !!!

  • I marvel at this technology. However, in Los Angeles, there would be riots if we couldn't get to our car in 30 flat. :-)

  • 404 car parking spots, 404 cars not found.

  • wasn't there something like this in tokyo drift? :P

  • nice car hot girl

  • screw car and garage im staring at the girl

  • You know this is cool and all, but maybe you should just learn to park in a normal parking garage.

  • German technology at its best, more cars/sq. m(parking fee/car can be controlled),no search to find space and search again to retrieve, safety of vehicles(no thefts)

issues: s/w bugs: imagine retreiving wrong car

cant access car again after parking

    initial cost of equipment

equipment protection from natural disasters(earthquake, floods etc)

  • it will be very expensive to park in there, because it is fricking expensive to build this.

I'm from germany and where I used to live, a parking slot costs about 1,50€ per 30min (if it's a parkade), and even THIS is already expensive compared to other cities. how much would this cost? 5€ per 15min? I'd rather take the bus than paying that ridicolous amount just for saving 2 minutes of my life searching a free slot.

other things may be: Power cut? Hacking the system? what happens than?

  • @Xebtria Actually, it's 1,5 Euro per hour (used to park there a lot).

  • Congratulations to Budapest and all its people, this is huge progress and shows respect for the historic and cultural centre and its tourists!

  • This save tons of money to developers, they can squeeze more cars into less space,

  • Talk about trying to live in a sustainable world, how much useless energy is wasted+ imagine if you forgot somthing in the car, you can't retrieve it back!!

  • What happens if the parking lot is full and it needs to retrieve the car to a terminal ....i mean u need to have at least multiple spaces to get the car back ...isn't it ...i am confised

  • @internetmarshal it has 10 spaces, 5 for parking in, 5 for parking out.

  • Who else wants to stay in the car? Come on!

  • @makickal. yes i do. looks fun.

  • funny that they show german text in a hungarian city. how big has such an installation to be, in order to be profitable? there's also a bicycle-variant in tokyo.

  • Ooops; left the baby in the car....

  • Pretty Cool. Automated, below-ground parking deck .

  • @steelydan4848 She looks Hungarian to me, but either way, who cares? She is gorgeous. Go back to you log cabin/bunker in the woods, you ignorant hillbilly fuck.

  • 404 parking spaces x 2 eUR/hr x 18hours/day x 80% utilization = about 12,000EUR/day.

    12kEUR/day x 365days/yr = about 4.4Million EUR/yr

subtract construction+loan costs - land costs - annual maintenance = net should be positive!

    Well done Budapest.

btw is there battery pack up? what if you lose power?

  • @FreeAgain2 even building this thing must have cost ten times as much. this won't turn profitable in quite a long time...

  • @Tueksta ...profit, profit, profit, profit, profit, profit ... only profit in your heads!!! It's not for the profit! ... It's for the people, for the city, and if it's profitable it will be good...

  • nice ass

  • Wow, I swear there used to be something similar in Thunderbirds?

  • ingenious, but looks a lot expensive

  • where do they park there donkeys

  • XLNT

  • good luck parking a hummer in one of those low ceiling parking pods.

  • @hiatg It's Europe, very very very few people would be stupid enough to own a Hummer.

  • @hiatg

It's probably designed so larger vehicles are either not accepted (lasers) or have a few slots available for taller vehicles. Besides, large SUVs are not that popular in Europe as they are in the USA.

  • @hiatg Some streets in Budapest are so narrow, that driving along them with a hummer is just impossible, so height is not the only problem there. But as someone before me already said: SUVs aren't that popular in Europe, especially not Hummers, thank god.

  • awesome!

  • wow!!!

  • wow!!!!

  • What a bunch of stupid post no wonder the world is like it is.

  • I'd rather pull into a space, put the car in park and get the fuck out.

  • And how does it detect the thief hiding inside the trunk?

  • What happens when there's a major event and cars are lined up to get in?

Unless they have LOTS of bays to upload vehicles, seems to me there'll be a major bottleneck in "parking" the cars.

  • @SoINeedAName48 There is always a bottleneck at parking ramps during events.

  • why is that chick so hot?

  • @soupkin Because it's in Budapest!

  • You can either park there, or buy a new car. It's the same price ;)

  • @OOOJimPanseOOO

thats not true... it only cost 1-3euro per hour

  • That laser is SICK

  • in case of a fire?

  • @KesoXorganoff Stuff burns, just like in a normal parking garage ...

  • Duplicate the Token and get a new car for free : P

  • @Skorbutt Except I don't believe they leave the keys in the car ...

  • nice one

  • SHIT!! O_O!!!!! awesome

  • SCINECE!

  • @RobotTickleFight fail....

  • @JustinR19 waht? awwwww damint
