Note how dying to Medusa has a statement that Gwydion is petrified instantly, yet the death animation is gradual in order to be more elaborate and horrible.

I had my reservations about this remake, but the authors have clearly understood the spirit of Sierra adventure games.

@kimarous The narrator sounds like the official Alexander voice actor xD Really the voices are true to the later Sierra talkies, they just used people in the office, with varying success....

@kimarous Agreed. Obviously, they should've taken an acting class or two. Or at least read the book The Art of Voice Acting, by James Alburger. Other than that, I enjoyed the game overall.

I like how the guy who voiced Graham on 5 did the voices for their remakes, as even this one actually.

I don't like this remake because its too much the letter of all the problems found in the original, like falling off paths. I do like their efforts and what not, but it feels partly amaturish here and there, like how the cat looks like a spider when kicked and when characters shrink and look higher resolution than the BG's. Also, it sounds weird when the Wizard teleparts.

Plus, Alexander sounds and acts like a cocky brat on here, like when how he kicks the cat. The redux has him sound more like the simple trouble boy he is.

I do like the smaller parts they missed on the redux by alteration though, so i'll be looking forward to 3.0 if they fixed the problems with diolog and what not. I still love all the additions to the gameplay though, as they make it longer and of more sense at times.
