I am currently studying in Eggstory and this film started production in 2004.And from the start of this trailer you can clearly see that its '2005 allright reserved'. It's just that kung fu panda release a step ahead of kung fu gecko.

THIS ANIMATION IS NOT A FAKE! The Egg Story Production is just unlucky.. They were beaten by the big guys to air the movie... This was already in progress in 2005... Back then there is no word at all about KFP...

I suppose they changing the name as its too late for release.. They probably have to change the storyline abit too.. But the quality is really good.. It is a totally different animation style.. It is an asian style.. not real, kungfu.. the serious kind with a little comical effect...
