Pasties are GREAT meals for cheap. Brown some burger with some mixed-in turnips and potatoes, maybe a bit of cabbage, then wrap it all up in pastry dough. Or if you want your bread to be a bit sweeter, make a flat of crescent roll dough and wrap it up in that. A bit more than $10, but hey, it's DAMN GOOD!

yo FAB i live in thailand and 10 bucks is about equal to 331 thai baht and i can't even count the numerous dishes you can cook with this amount but my favorite would be "nua ma now" its beef strips,lemon grass, sugar,onion,lemon juice, chili,and salt its a bit difficult to mix up but it packs a punch

deer sausage gumbo, mmmm. i lb of deer sausage, boiled and browned, cut into 1 inch pcs, rice, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, salt, pepper, red peppers, onion, 1 clove garlic, paprika, chili powder, kidney beans, worchestershire sauce, let boil till the veggies and the rice are done, add everything else to taste, simmer for 1 hour (or more) and enjoy!! its cheap cause i hunt and make my own sausage. feeds about 5-6

hey heres a meal i always prepare for under $10. you go to mcdonalds and order 2 double cheese burgers and a drink. when you get that you go home and put it on a plate and put some ketchup on the fries and there you have a meal for under $10. lol

Save 10 dollars and get some burgers, potatos, and a dollar and some change 1 litter of soda and THATS way more than youre going to get then at mcdonalds.

Steamed up with 50 cents worth of soya sauce (ok, kids #3 & #4 and 0,75 child/national average only get 3 dimmes now to keep the total cost at or under $10 due to the fiddy cent splurge on soy sauce), and we have a RIPPA meal.

Its a continental curried sausage sauce mix for 1.20.

This is my favorite meal to make when I'm a little on the broke side... I call it "Red Macaroni" or "Mac and Tomatoes". Here's what you do, cook 1 box of shell pasta until tender - drain water (don't rinse), add two spoons of butter, 2 cans of crushed tomatoes with the juice, a few tablespoons of sugar, a 1/2 cup of milk, salt and pepper to taste and let sit on the burner until hot. Remember to stir so it doesn't stick to the pot. I PROMISE you'll love it :) Hope to be in a video, I'm a fan!

hey Pete, i make these wicked fried perogies! total cost is probably around 20 bucks, but you can get like 8-10 meals out of them!

put oil, hot sauce, garlic seasoning, pepper, salt, chopped red onions, and some BEER in a pan, mix it all up real good. you want the mixture pretty runny; it will evaporate and absorb into/coat the perogies.

drop the perogies in, and fry them till they are heated all the way through. the sauce should have gotten like bbq sauce thickness.

so damn good! Enjoy!
