There never was or has been a veggie monster, the cookie monster has always spoken of the importance of eating vegetables while still occasionally going on a cookie rampage. You are one of the many people who were deceived into believing this travesty. I too thought this was the end of the cookie monster, but photos of our favorite muppet in a shade of green are not real, they are Photoshopped. The wonderful character is still around, and fighting... for his cookies. Thank You.

Come on guys, Sesame Street doesn't influence you, it influences kids to make the right choices and veggie monster is fake. Cookie monster is real!!! Sesame Street recieved a lot of complaints from mothers whose kids are eating to many cookies due to the Cookie Monster. Sesame Street is just trying to tweak things.

This is wrong. Kids grew up watching sesame street looking forward to watching their favorite charectar and they completely changed him to the opposite of what he was. So what he noms on cookies all day. Children aren't going to want to eat cookies all day because of this, and so what if they want to eat cookies, all kids do. Even teenagers and adults. What kind of world is this where people take away the one thing every child grows up to?
