can someone tell me the best pci-e upgrade i can get? i have 1 pci-e x4 slot and 1 x1 slot left. i have 2 gtx 285's and i'm not getting a third... I was thinking about killer xeno ultra NIC or is there a better pci-e upgrade to speed up my PC?

I only want pci-e, no RAM, HDD, etc upgrades

@mikitymike 2 gtx 285 are MONSTERS, super high end cards. This is about the best you can get, although you can remove the 2 GTX 285's, and get 2 HD 5970's instead, though they require pretty much space.

I got those 285's almost a year ago, and i filled up my last pci-e with a asus Xonar D2X. I might get an EVGA classified with 4 pci-e slots and have 2 GTX 480's in SLi (Depending on the cost and how much $ i have) keep a 285 for physx or like a secondary monitor.

Ever since i have been upgrading my pc i now have extra PSU, RAM, monitor, my old mobo (since i'm getting a classified) and I will give my second 285 to my 7 year old brother for his own pc, because he keeps on asking to play on mine.

ok i basically need help...i purchesed 2 Kingston DDR2 1GB (each) ram sticks hopeing that i could add to my factory installed 1GB to make 3GB in total..when i do my computer gives 2 long beeps with a long pause between them..guessing incompability...what should i do?

one of them is not in the slots right so your system is reading as you have no ram

im upgrading ym computer from 2gb to 4 gb, to play NFS carbon with some higher details, do u think this is all i need or should i try with a diff garaphics card? i have a nvidia g force, so i dont think ill need anything else, and i have a vista home premuim, oh any my comp is 1 year old, lol thanks for ut time, hope to hear ya soon

You should post your rig and buget.

People can't help you if they donno your rig.

For game , adding extra memory onli give you a few fps. The main source is graphic card , not high memory.
