I remember playing this when I was really young and didnt realise they were the twin towers, apparently some of the stuff was diffrent but they re-realeased it like this because the ending was on the twin towers but they didnt want to offend people because of 9/11 so they changed it to thor being in the newspaper.

1:02 World Trade Center? No. Actually its another building. In the BETA game it was the World Trade center, but after the 9/11 attacks, they changed it. Thumbs up.

@Gabrielvogel No not a beta, the game was released about two weeks before 9/11 with the Twin Towers as the last level, I know because I bought it just a few days after it came out in August 2001. After the 9/11 attacks the developers connected the two buildings making it seem like it was one whole building and used that as the last level for copies of the game made after 9/11.

in the greastest hits version of this game you dont fight on the twin towers you fight on a random building similar to the twin towers because after the 9/11 attacks they removed the twin towers from the greatest hits version it could be said that this is the last form of the twin towers in a video game.

I love Electro, he made for a pretty good villian that suited his powers of electricity, a pretty wild madman who went from A to B going through anything in his way like lightning does. He blew up a car with kids inside it in the comics and is an excellent example of what power can do to a normal man.

Would certainly love him to be in the Spiderman films, I love electricity based superheroes and villians!

DID YOU KNOW: This game was recalled for a while after the 9/11 attack. The reason: The original ending of the game was a fight on to of the North World Trade Center Tower. After the towers were destroyed, the programmers recalled it, and made a few changes in dialogue, level names and the location of the last battle. As for why the Thor appeared in the paper at the end, thats because he was in the original cutscene at the end.
