When that window comes up, don't click delete... clicking anything on that fake ass window will unpack the virus it's saying you have. If anything, open task manager (ctrl alt delete) and end the process that is that weird program.

I work part-time as a techy, and the amount of jobs i get from people running 'Norton' having numerous viruses,  its crap!!! and thats on a good day!

The key to a good anti-virus is its ability to detect and stop viruses/trojans before they even get on your system in the first place, i almost never have to run a system scan, i use 'kaspersky int sec' and let it run itself whenever. It is what i recommend and run on my customers systems, the only problen i have now? no more virus call-outs!

@caseyloohoo92 Actually before you go wiping out your hard drive or reformatting it, you should try system restore. Its in your control panel somewhere. Just set it so it restores the hard drive to a point before you got infected. Try that first and THEN if it doesn't work wipe your hard drive. It will save you the loss of a LOT of files

Tremd Micro Internet Security (TMIS) is a pretty good anti-virus, it tells you when your subscription is running and it lets you renew instead of deleting it and risking your computer for like 5 minutes (alot can happen in 5 minutes) and it protects your computer pretty nicely
