but i do appreciate the amount of work that goes into a project like this, i do animation myself and i know how hard it is. I also appreciate you use flash, which i personally find very difficult compared to hand-drawn stuff so massive respect for you guys in learning how to use it and making it look so proffessional. And good on you for doing it for a good cause, i just think the message should be alot clearer if you want it to hit hard. People need to be able to relate!
Though slipping on a bottle? Not amazingly serious but very possible. It was her face when she was lying on the floor that lost the seriousness for me :D but it soon came back to 'serious' with her fathers reaction. nice work
The story is based on real life events. and both films are written by young people who face these situations on a daily basis. Thank you Salford08 for watching the films, they obviously have effected you
hang on at the end, he had the toy and the drink right? representing what would he throw away, the drink or his daughter right? he threw the toy away, representing hid daughter. So he isn't as the title suggests "turning his life around" is he? or have i got it wrong?:S
She's hiding under the bed ... presumably implying the father absued prior to these events... bit late for major changes. This is a job for the social workers.
this is far from how the real world works, yr highlighting issues by showing animations that are complete bollocks, like she woulda slipped on the empty bottle?
Woulda been more realistic if her dad hammered her with it, and the knife thing is bullshit aswell, yr highlighting issues i agree but clearly you dont completely understand how these things work....
alot of teens carry a knife now for protection and yes it could result in the carrier being stabbed, in that case get a fuckin gun!

I understand what your're saying, but I think it's just highlighting the dangers of living with an alcoholic family member without being to violent.

So what... Her dad was drinking, then a robber went up stairs, stole her books and then the dad put the bottle on the stairs, and then she died...
Why the robber?!
