It's a shame the music got changed in DDFF. Even if it the scene didn't mesh so well with the original piece (which it does), the new piece doesn't even stylistically cut off at the end of the scene, instead just trailing off. Really doesn't get the blood going.

The other shame is that when it was applied to its token character's vs. Bartz scene... it also just kinda fades off, mid-monologue.

So here's my theory. After your team defeats Gilgamesh in FFV, he agrees to train Bartz before Dissidia happens. Which would explain why he has all the heroes' weapons, since in FFXII(i think) Gilgamesh has the weapon of every FF hero. Bartz warps the weapons in from Gilgamesh's stash when he wants to use them.

The job class that Bartz uses in this game (since FFV was heavy on picking and choosing your own job classes for each player) is Mime, so he's basically miming the other characters and gaining their weapons by those means. He is able to mimic any of the combos of any of the other Warriors of Cosmos.

Actually, he's using "Normal"

That means he can equip any weapon or skill, including Mimic, hence being able to use said skills without the original user present. Otherwise, his cape would be red, and his Ex-Mode would just add stars.

I'm a huge fan of FFV and I must say that Bartz acts nothing like he does in FFV. He isn't the "cool, caring" acting character they portray him out to be.

Any true FFV fan would know that his personality reflects that of a dumb-funny adventurous person. He's very carefree in his assessments and choices. FFV truelly is one of the best RPG's made by SquareSoft.

I noticed a little of that in Gametrailers' montage when he was fighting Ultimecia. He says "Here!" when he uses Holy, like Terra does. But in this vid, when he uses that attack at 0:27 he says "Get back here!" and Firion says, "Can't run!" when he uses the same attack.

you can tell in this video because he uses lead axe (one of Firion's moves), and he says "get back here!" but the english version of firion says "can't escape!" when he uses lead axe, which is the proper translation of what he says in the japanese version (Bartz and Firion both say "nigaska!" in the JP version).
