I ordered eggs through a place that sells eggs to hatch for reptile food. If you plan to do this, remember that there are *always* more eggs than they say. I ordered a dish of 500, and it had a little over 1,000 hatch. Oh, and eggs glued down to a dish are easier than loose eggs. The wormspit website is really interesting, if you want more info.

I think it's a Wood Thrush, especially if djinnj (New Jersey?) is in the Northeast USA. I have one in my backyard here in Connecticut as well.
