Before the Akiyama fight and after his fight against Smirnovas, Sakuraba vomited and fainted during training and was rushed to the hospital, with many people assuming the damage he took against Smirnovas as the cause.
With Saku's health being such a big concern for many people during that time, many people were really harsh on Akiyama because he cheated and beat the shit out of Saku, making him take unnecessary damage, worsening his risk for a major brain damage.

Aki is already rich with his career as a judo fighter and his wife is a famous model, he's not in Pride or UFC for money. His entire life is challenge. Akiyama himself denied oiling up, till they showed film of him doing just that in the dressing room before the fight, then he changed his toon and told the truth.
Reckon the difference between Aki and "this Sakuraba fuckhead" as you call him is that Saku is a legend, respected by his peers.

You Nips are truly a bunch of fags! If you have a set of eyes with correct vision, you will see that Akiyama kicked the shit out of Sakuraba in this fight, with or without lotion.
You ask any experts in MMA, and they will tell you that it's much tougher to submit an opponent after he's been sweating a lot during later rounds.
Akiyama sweats a lot. Sakuraba was screaming because he didn't want to lose a fight he couldn't win. That was a part of his game plan.

Akiyama is also a submission expert. And have great Judo. It doesn´t make sense that he would oil himself since it would make it harder for him to hold down the opponend. Besides. Saku was already out and got his ass kicked before he started grabing the legs. I love Sakuraba, but this is just stupid. Yes i know Akiyama admitted to using somthing to keep his Gi cleaned that got on to his body, but it was a honest mistake. I think this is blowned out of proportion because he is Korean.

Before the Akiyama fight and after his fight against Smirnovas, Sakuraba vomited and fainted during training and was rushed to the hospital, with many people assuming the damage he took against Smirnovas as the cause.
With Saku's health being such a big concern for many people during that time, many people were really harsh on Akiyama because he cheated and beat the shit out of Saku, making him take unnecessary damage, worsening his risk for a major brain damage.
