Why does your Ubuntu look so much like a Mac?

(btw i know nothing about Ubuntu)

Default Ubuntu doesn't look like a Mac, but many like to make their installs look and (to a certain extent) work like Macs or even Windows.

I personally like the dock, but don't choose to make my Ubuntu install really look like a Mac.

what media player is that on there? The one that looks a hella lot like itunes? Also what dock do you have?

im using banshee for media player (notice the 'b' icon on dock?) and the dock is AWN.
