  • Weight training belts differs from bodybuilding, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, and strongman.This belt  here is a training belt, the brand name should not be an importance

    the belt is a great way to lift heavy and get tank and avoid injury's

  • No matter how strong or muscular you are, if you lift heavy weights the wrong way, you run a very big risk of getting one of your spinal discs damaged sooner or later.

  • Don't wear a girly girdle. Build up your lower back muscles then you don't have to worry about "injury."

  • @southport97 even this, I got an injury in my back.... now I can't do squats or deadlift !!!

  • @southport97 Or even better also build up your abs so you develop a complete muscular "belt" and don't need to use one.

  • @OrangeGummiBar No matter what your tough guy complex is trying to pose as online, just having your core developed should not stop you from using a belt. Look at this guy, he is build and has abs, he still wears a belt.

True intra abdominal pressure is created with the use of the transversus abdominis stabilizing the low back in concert with the internal oblique to pull tight on the thoracolumbar fascia. The use of a weight belt encourages the lifter to push out into the belt using resctus abdominis as a stabilizer, which is a primary flexor, creating flase sense of pressure and pre-disposes the low back to injury

  • The weightlifting belt main purpose is that reduces stress the lower back while the person is lifting in an upright position ,mainly squats.The belt reduces low back stress by compressing the muscles of the abdominal cavity. This increases the abdominal pressure, providing more back support. Also importantly  the belt serves a psychological comfort.
