@JETSTA916 Well in my TL there is a button called "VSA," it stands for vehicle stability assist and it's just like traction.
Turning traction control off allows the power of the car to be at it's fullest without any type of ecu management controlling it. But then when too much power is at the wheels, you lose grip, and losing grip is never good in racing because you lose that much time in the race.
@JETSTA916 Turning traction control on will let certain amount of power go to the wheels, which will not cause wheel spin but in turn, you lose power. Having traction control off is usually better in certain type of races like drag races.
the 07/08 Auto Type S is governed to 130ish. Kinda sucks since I had an 05 TL that could do 150's. In reality I never came close to those speeds and I like the fact that my car insurance went down with the Type S likely for this very reason.
thats bullshit... i have the same car n mine is 08 5at but it tops at 145-148 most then it stops in the 5th gear thou... take it bak to the dealer n til them to fix it.. lol under warranty... lol
Yeah, I have a 2004 tl and I hit 150. And I slowed down after that. The car didn't slow me down.
