Just ordered one for my Mirage Rack... can't wait to install. I just went through my old floppy disks and about 1/4 of them are bad. Time to back up to flash. btw... have you tried linking up your existing floppy and the floppy emulator, at the same time? I wonder if it would be possible to load from floppy and save to flash via a switch or somehting? Instead of using a computer to convert, etc. Anyway, thanks for the post!!! -dJ dAb
This little device is bloody briliant! I detest how succeptible 720K floppies are. Heat, magnetism, static, age, etc. And those drives are really getting old. When my drive dies (or possible before) I'm grabbing one of these. How nice to have your whole library of disks on one SD card! I'm one of those annoying purists that hates using a laptop on stage with vintage gear, but using an SD card is somehow OK.
