it would take 13 billion dollars to completely get rid of this poverty.

This crisis is serious; there are now over 900 million hungry people around the world, and approximately 1.4 billion living in EXTREME poverty! In fact, everyday it estimated that 25,000 children die from hunger and preventable diseases. And... CHILDREN are under threat of STARVATION!!! This is the world's BIGGEST food crisis. I am helping out whatever way that I can... I WANT actually I NEED THIS CRISIS TO STOP AND FAST!!!!

i'm doing the forty hour famine, not only to help, but to raise awareness in the community, because to many people have the belief that one person cannot make a difference and their contribution means nothing, but what they don't realise is that it can make the world of difference.

So you may live in a a plentiful world for the moment but one day it is likely you may be in the same situation yourself.
