  • why are there so many haters on this video? o.O

  • thats the one jewel i never bother getting XD

  • wtf noob playing

  • Watching this is really painful.

He never runs, he doesn't read any of the text and it's obvious he's using a walkthrough.

  • Or maybe she's played the game so much that there is no need to read text. Feel free to improve if you have so many complaints...

    Everyone's a critic.

  • It's not an rpg per say.

It's really a action adventure like game with puzzles involved.

Although it is a great adventure game and i love it.

I agree that it is highly underrated.

It is when enix was good and GODDAMIT ENIX!! how could you fuck up so bad?

  • I remember this game! My cousin had it years ago! man i remember almost every location in the game... ankor wat... etc... wow...

  • I loove this game so much. The storyline is amazing, and its very imaginative, and yet, very true, at the same time. I want to find another snes game that is just as amazing as this one. =)

  • Holy shit, I played this for soooo long one summer. :D Thanks for uploading this!

  • Illusion of Gaia

    Chrono Trigger

    Final Fantasy V & VI

Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past

I am eternally grateful to Life for having been a kid in the 90s.

  • Actraiser, Chrono Triiger, Illusion Of Gaia, Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past, Phantasy Star II, Phantasy Star III, Secret Of Mana, Suikoden I, & Wild Arms I. The best rpg's ever created

  • gaia is awesome i have it and a super nintendo but the super nintendos cables are gone wich means i cant play it.

  • love this game!!! my snes still works! :D

  • i remember my friend got this game from spain, he couldnt figure it out so he rented it to me so i could finish it, i must say it was one of the hardest and best rewarding RPG experience ive had in my childhood. Its like playing ff7 for the first time ^^

  • Wow Is this RPG also known as Illuion of (Time). Is this the American title of Illusion of (time) (Illusion of Gaia). Or does Gaia stand for time? If thats the case am an idoit lol

  • I remember this game it is a classic and every rpg fan should play it

  • I know where to download this game free!!

email me on youtube if you want to know how

  • This game was so cool! I rented it when I was little, and its cool to see it again! Yay!

  • "OH! IT MOVED! (hop hop)"

  • I still own my snes and this game. I completed it about 3 or 4 times. This game brings back some good old memories. I really loved the characters and I fell in love with Kara too haha silly me

  • Hallo nchantegamer girl,

Hier een reactie van een grote RPG-fan uit Holland. Deze game heb ik 4 keer gespeeld of nog meer. Alleen bij ons heet dit spel illusion of time. En hij is absoluut prachtig.

  • i never knew u could get the third jewel from the fisherman, that sucks lol

  • God I loved this game so much as a little kid

  • It's one of those games you need to go back at least once a year and start from scratch, beat the game, and take a break again. I still have it on console, but most people these days jsut download emulators and roms online... google "snes emulators roms illusion gaia" can't really give much more info.

  • This is such an under rated game big time. I would put it up there with the top 50 games of all time!

  • Is there a way I can play this game online ??

  • I am working on beating it right now.

  • This game is very nostalgic to me cause I played this game when I was around 6-7.

  • so did i, i still play it

  • Lucky you, my SNES doesn't work anymore.

  • that sucks

  • I guess this was a kind of sequel to Soulblazer, but I don't see the connection. Nintendo really pushed this game, but I guess sales weren't good enough to bring tje third game, Terranigma, to the US. However, since Actraiser showed up on the Virtual Console and seemed to do well, more Enix games should be on the way.

  • The only real link is the very spoiler-filled secret of jewler jem. All I will say is that if you have played soulblazer, that getting all 50 jewels will make you VERY happy (and then very sad because its nearly impossible! I only finally beat it when I got to him with EVERY herb in the GAME in my inventory!)

  • Chrono Trigger, Illusion Of Gaia, & Secret Of Mana >>> Final Fantasy

  • One of the greatest games of all time. I'm so glad I still have it for my SNES.

  • i figured out exactly how to get it every time ok what you do is by the cave once your done finding the first two jewels.... and you walk into the house and the pot flys out,

go to the cave and keep going in and out and he will eventually pop up with the jar and the jewel that seems to work for me all the time.....

by the way best game ever and best story ever nice music 10/10 and also the story has some actual historical truths to it.

  • Here's a thought, why don't you get a life instead of trolling and posting pointless hate messages.

Seriously, if you hate it so much, go play something else. Otherwise, leave my vids alone, unless you think you can do better.

  • graphics have nothing to do with the quality of a game, the gameplay, the world, and the storyline are all that really matter, and this game has all three

  • make another chose

  • will is a boy or a girl

  • Will is a boy. :P

  • When I saw how good this game was, I decided to purchase one from ebay. Got one cheap by $8 dollars. I checked the old issues and discovered this game was at $70 when it was released. I hope to get Chrono Trigger, but is expensive and rare. I wish I bought it before.

  • Man, town theme bring some really good memories to me. I miss the time when I have snes

  • I got this game for xmas and it came with a t-shirt -_-. Good game, but wayyyy wayyyy too linear for an rpg. No currency system, and it is far too short. Also, you don't get jack crap for getting all the red jewels and killing that one boss as Will =/.

  • Yeah, that really sucked. I mean, the only think that came out of it were the power-ups. That's the only reason why I even attempted to find them all. And while it is pretty linear, it gets annoying in some areas. I still hate Mt. Tress and Mu with a damn passions. To bloody confusing.

  • lol i hate em noth but i've played so much i know everything except what they say, but i still hate mu, its too damn long

  • i think you mean Mt. Kress or Mt. Temple

  • how do you play the game what web site is it dame

  • This game came out many years ago for the Super Nintendo. The only other way to play it now is through a SNES emulator. I personally don't know where to find one. Besides, I don't have to because I still own my SNES and my copy of this game. ^_^

  • Heh same here(y)

  • the soundtrack for this was arguably the greatest soundtrack to any video game on the SNES.

  • I play this game once every year since I was 5 or 6, I really enjoy the story line and I LOVE the saving song, the one you hear when you save and stop playing.. I could hear it for hours :) I'll start playing it right now :D

  • Now I really wish I still had all my old games, I just started playing breath of fire again, and I remembered this one. Thanks for posting a video of the town, brings backs lots of memories :)

  • this was called "illusion of time" in EU, but either way, this game rocks!!!

  • I have an emulated version of Soul Blazer kicking around here

  • I still have snes and Illusion of Gaia is in my collection, I want to find terranigma and soul blazer.

  • Thanks a lot for posting your playing through Illusion of Gaia, I really enjoy watching them. I played this game quite a lot, and I still think it's among the best games I've ever played. Also, the soundtrack is really nice, hearing the music to the game again after such a long time (I no longer have a SNES) brings back memories.

  • this was the best on SNES, its just great and peacful

  • I remember fighting overthis game as a kid with my brother... its in my SNES right now!

  • It's great to see people still play this game =D.

  • I love Illusion of Gaia! I hope by showing this, other people will like it too.

  • This game is fantastic...
