I remember workin in these flats (Daniel solander building) while living in Sydney the lifts do usually work fine!!! there's a diverse spectrum of people living there, many of whom have lived there for 30 years and still don't speak english... it's full of crazy characters.... great community:-)
Yes we have seen research housing Maroubra they give toilet buckets for the pensioners. They never gave pensioners with mental disability & their children even a toilet they cause them to use buckets for toilet. This is abusive disgusting thing to cause to their own good clients paying them rent for more than 30 years. They went to the Consumer Tribunal & won got orders the Dept done the work & then the dept cheated on the orders & sent a false debt $1,600
I don't live in a tower, but the lifts are old and slow, as the whole philosophy is to make it so rough that nobody except the most despearte would want it. Well, would you live there or want it for your folks when they get old? see I don't think so. abos also receive preference to have a bedroom entitlement of 1+ whatever else it was for there household size meaning a single abo is technically entitled to up to a 3br property when others are only entitled (under standard criteria) to 1/2 br
Yes what you say is right. did you know there is a man Brian Wilshire on 2 GB radio 13873, this is open talk bac radio. He is asking pensioners, carers to ring and discuss housing bad living & current affairs. But many are too scared to ring.
The Maroubra Housing staff they cause pensioners to go with no toilet sewerage, they had to use buckets is not that bad. They went to consumer & won then the Housing sent them a false debt $1, 600 to ask them to pay for the toilet & a stove
Yeah I know huh. Plenty of quiet older people, mostly overseas born [eastern/southern europe] who didn't make it in our "land of opportunity" and a few, but easy to find, deadbeats of various younger ages, deadbeats of mostly Aboriginal or caucasian origin.
blow the fucking shit hole up with all the shit in it.

Of course you would say that if you do not live among them, or did but really had the means and choice to go somewhere else to live.
