@joeynyc321 He never said so. Read it again. The masks gave them attention and helped them get famous for sure. But that's not what slipknot is about.
@TempelriddarN I never said its not true, but if you're a true fan of slipknot the masks and coveralls should be the last thing on your mind. Who cares about the fame? its the music that counts.
@joeynyc321 You clearly didn't read my message... I'm not gonna bother conversating with some jerk who's not open minded enough to read the responses. You pretty much wrote what I did and proved your stupidity.
@TempelriddarN Lol "conversating".. yet you still have the audacity to say I'm stupid and not open minded. If I wasn't open minded i wouldn't be saying it's the music that counts rather than appearance. Btw go learn the english language.
@joeynyc321 Haha, you complain about my english because you have nothing else to say? Pathetic. You must be really dumb to not being able to read my responses. Besides, check the meaning of "open minded". MrAlbasaurus said the masks were a part of them getting famous. What the hell does that have to do with "real fans". And if they wouldn't be famous you probably would've never heard of them.
He's such an interesting guy and has such a realistic look on thing's, he knows how to speak the truth and make an understanding out of everything. Such an inspiration.
"You have to allow yourself to branch out past those musical walls, you know. And a scene is nothing more than a wall with better clothing. That's all a scene is at the end of the day."
"@nomidasavahid I can't really remember but this guy works with Corey and his bands and asked him one day about the meaning of 30/30-150. It's in the show"
From memory 30/30-150 relates to his measurements in high school. He was of a smaller stature. I Think it has to do with him growing up after school and all the bullshit and remembering how they treated him then.
Corey Explains the meaning of "30/30-150" on another Q & A type video on here somewhere. the meaning of it is indeed about his jeans.. 30 waist 30 Length.. and he weighed 150 lbs at some point in his life well.. that's is the jist of it anyway :P he also mentioned about how one of the music channels refused to play that video because they thought it was about the bullet asforementioned earlier.. and of course when he set them straight.. it was like.. "Ohh .. ok.." LOL
@drumgroovy They talked about that on the show "Mad Genius" on the Fuse Network. this was specific to Corey Taylor. Some roadie for Stone Sour, I think it was asked Corey what it meant and it was corey's length/weight and weight at the time he wrote the song. It's a metaphor for him saying fuck you in the song.
@ConnorxNxKC See that's the thing, I've done quite a bit of research on this and that comes up as one of the theories... except that that was his measurements in high school, not at the time he wrote the song. Some say it's a rifle caliber and there's a theory that says that it's code for total nuclear devastation or something. So I would have loved to hear it from The Great Big Mouth himself.
@drumgroovy The guy in the vid said he asked Corey about it because he usually talks to him about the meaning behind the songs Corey writes. Maybe Corey was referring back to high school but also he may be that size when he wrote that. he's really not a big guy. I'm a 30/32 and 150 pounds and not far off than him.
@nomidasavahid I can't really remember but this guy works with Corey and his bands and asked him one day about the meaning of 30/30-150. It's in the show
It's his measurements from high school. The song reflects back on how he was treated then and how he 'remembers'. It's along those lines anyway. Im sure there is more depth to it.
Very articulate piece

Corey's words about being in love with your music over being in love with your scene...I'll keep that in mind forever.

@joeynyc321 And neither MrAlbasaurus or myself said that their appearance is more important that their music. Read before you criticize.
