For some reason, this almost reminds me of the Sega Genesis game Rocket Knight Adventure... It almost has that same air of silliness, but of course, being Genesis, the platform had a little more freedom with the things that they did in the name of silly.

Good job, DC. I don't think I ever finished the bonus bit. I came back to Rockin' Kats years after I first played it, and I couldn't believe how much easier it had seemed back then.

Man. Rockin' Kats, The Goonies II, Kabuki Quantum Fighter, Power Blade, Legacy of the Wizard--your LPs are like reading an old Nintendo Power, and that's awesome. I'd suggest Street Fighter 2010 if it wasn't LP-ed to death. That was one tough game, but it had great music.

Cosmic Spacehead for the Sega Genesis. No this isn't an LP recommendation, this is just a recommendation for you personally. Of course you've probably played it before, but doesn't hurt to suggest fun things to play.

Some NES games use passwords to let you save your progress. It has nothing to do with unlocking features, although it opens up that possibility if the publisher were so inclined.
