  • plastic guns suck go 1911 ftw

  • @52988monkeyhead I love 1911s but when is the last time you used one in a combat scenario? Not the most reliable.

  • Marlin 60 VS glock gen 1 17, please let that happen !

  • Glock does not call it a slide release, it was designed as a "slide lock" never intended to drop the slide. But I do anyhow, I find I can reload and get back on target faster

  • mr. nutnfancy can you please do a review of the stock for glocks mostly for the 17 and or 19 thank you very mucho!!

  • It's a shame Nutnfancy and Fritz's friendship disolved over some 550 chord

  • i must be stupid or something but how do you mount you knife on your shoulder like that?

  • Wondering if this outta the box 17 is Cali-legal?

  • @ChuckDaveDarwin i dont live in California but i think you should be fine as long as you get a 10 round mag if that is the law out there. You should be able to find them i think I've seen them around

  • Hey did you modify the decal grips on the g17 i cant find any with the thumb indentation grip i carry a glock 23 but its almost the same frame may be a little more compact

  • Glock is a golden sponsor for the Second Amendment Fundation, an organization restoring your 2nd Amendment rights all over the country, one lawsuit at a time. Thumb up to spread the word.

  • The extended slide stop lever is the devil.

  • just got the ghost 3.5 thanks feels good!

  • You reference the reason that law enforcement uses the glock as a primary pistol. I have watched many of your videos. You really have no clue about Law enforcement use of Glock. THE ONLY reason why SOME law enforcement agencies use GLOCK is ONLY because "Ease of training." When teaching people how to use a gun, clear malfunctions, and tactics, the glock is easy- point and shoot, no cock/ decocking, difference in trigger pull, etc. Most agencies actually use SIG, and S&W.

  • @mine175 Glock capitalized about 60% of Law Enforcement in the United States, due to mostly it's ease of use but also its rock solid, AK47 style reliability.

  • I hate the glock trigger..

  • Ordered a G17 from Davidson's Gallery of Guns on Sunday morning around 9am. It was at my local gun shop on Tuesday. Just got home from doing the paperwork and I should have the ol' girl in my mits by Friday night

  • What happened to fitzen?

  • Great video! Thanks much!

  • Glock 26. Simple Perfection.

  • What are your feelings on the Glock 23c with Hi-viz sights and a glock tactical lazer/light??? That is what mods I think I want to go with if I purchase the G23c.

  • @MyYogiBoy You need a speargun attachment too.

  • Comment removed

  • @nutnfancy Thanks for the recommend, my 17 is now a even better shooter. All for less than $50 post tax. I even did the work myself. With an $8 glock tool you can take down the entire weapon.

  • If I just could get a penny, every time you guys say " Tactical "...

  • Just ordered my Glock 19!

  • I have the G17 and all I did was put the extended slide release on it. I find that it's easier to reach with your index finger. I know, being lefty is kind of a drag sometimes, but you get used to it. Carry On!

  • I just bought an RTF yesturday and it is way better of a grip and palm swell that you can get a good grip with

  • @TheAsian8er Nice. I have the G17 in RTF and it's fantastic.

  • @mrmilleniumproof excellent choice. great all around side arm

  • Do know if the extended slide release and the 3lbs trigger will work for Gen 4 Glock 22?

  • Hey Nutnfancy, great video, I love my Glock 22. Thinking about modifying my Gen 4. Thanks for the insightful info....

  • Hey Nutnfancy, I know you have a 3.5 trigger connector but you didn't say if you also upgraded your Glock striker spring. A Glock Armorer told me if i use a different connector for lesser pull then you should also change your striker spring to adjust with the trigger connector. Is that true? if so which striker spring is the best for the 3.5 trigger connector? Please reply it would really help me thank you

    -DevilDogRob (Former Marine)

    Semper Fi

  • @devilrobrob You don't have to change the striker spring, and if it serves a defensive roll I wouldn't, you run the risk of light primer strikes. However if it is a game gun or just for plinking most people use the wolff competition spring kit. Its 7-9$ and changes the striker spring, trigger spring and the firing pin block spring. Takes the trigger down under 4lbs after break in.

  • even your text comments are long as hell

  • The Steyr M series is very nice as well.

  • @nutnfancy what about barrels i know the 17 is accurate becuase i own one but would you recomend a new barrel to further improve accuracy or just the trigger job?

  • I found by around the 300 round mark I was draining all my shots beating my bang switch like a drum with three to four shots a second into one ragged hole at 15m. With my stock Glock 34. Just go shoot people. Seriously, forget all this gear queer shit. Get a new connector and new sights and you're good to go.

  • hickock45 could out shoot nutnfancy any day

  • Sometimes you come accross as an ego inflated blowhard, but I have to admit - you do a good job at what you do.

    Great video on the Glocks.

  • As of Saturday I am now a proud owner of the Nutnfancy "hangun standard"

  • Glock is perfection.

  • One good mod I have found to be rather useful is the use of a backstrap plug. It not only keeps debris from entering the backstrap but it also protrudes from the handle giving a useful "catch" while indexing a new mag during a reload. It also gives a more complete look being that they generally will sit flush with the standard base plate of a glock magazine.

  • Yo Nutnfancy, HUUUGE TNP fan here but got a question i wish you would answer please...How come you dont Review a Glock 22 4th Gen...I am planning on buying this pistol at the end of january and i want to know your input on it please, Thank you

    -Rob

  • @devilrobrob Buy it, he likes it. its a glock, in a good caliber, buy it.

  • @XdynomightX lol. glocks are known to function no matter how much derp gets in em.......DERP!

  • great work nutnfancy. Ur channel is my favorite one on youtube. The nutnfancy project is a great thing, keep up the good work!

  • pfffft... P226! if you can afford it.

  • love my glock 30, but i just dont like how you can see through them, between the slide and the rest of the weapon

  • I have the RTF model 19. I hurts my hand after about 100 rounds, and it rubs my skin raw when I carry it. I wound up putting a grip cover on mine

  • @moondogsurvival I would agree with you. Although with the rtf you have plenty of grip when you need it, it makes training with the gun unenjoyable. The finger grooves fit my hand perfectly on my 17 and is all I need, except for maybe a wet gun and hand.

  • @nbdavis47 I love the concept, I just find it crappy for conceal carry. If I were a Navy Seal who swam a lot with a side arm, it would be perfect

  • Does the trigger job take away from the reliability?

  • hey nutn i am thinking about buying a glock it will be my first handgun do you think a glock 19 would be a good starter pistol

  • @GUNSnGEAR1 I don't know what Nutn would say, but I can tell you that I love my Glock 19 gen 3. It has served me well for some time now, and shoots anything I put through it

  • I've got my glock waiting in the wings for these mods. Thanks again!!!

  • I cant believe i see you wearing a condor crossdraw vest in this vid. I hope it was just for testing

  • I just made these changes to my Glock 22 and it's like having a whole new gun! Thanks for the video!

  • I still love my XD

  • and an extended slide stop/release

  • If you live near Smyrna, Glock will install an extended mag release for free :) I agree with the 3.5 lb trigger connector... nice. all my Glocks have that change.

  • Isn't it bad to dry fire though?

  • @techerik14 no not at all you can dry fire glocks no prob

  • I think it was a great review. I am not a big fan of the glock light. I think it is a little too bulkey, but it is an option. I much prefer the Streamlights. I have a lot of experience with the TLR-1. It is the one that I have mounted on my duty Glock. I have been watching the Nutnfancy project with great interest, and I think that it is a great source of information. Keep up the great work, I will continue to watch.

  • I agree with the majority of the review but have to take exception to a couple of them.

The Glock factory extended magazine release is just too long. It's too easy to accidentally depress resulting in a dropped magazine. If you absolutely have to get an extended magazine release the Vickers release is a better choice.

I'm also not a fan of extended slide releases. Glock discourages using the slide release to chamber a round. The extended release offers no real advantage.

  • you ever thought of a DIY SteadyCam setup???

  • Respond to this video... kahr k9 needs reviews. lovely thing................errrr maybe the polymer p9 would be more your speed(the k9 is steel and classy)

  • @mrmilleniumproof its a good herd to be in though, if i had to leve the house with one pistol, it would be the glock.

  • hey nutn when are you gunna do a glock 21 sf review i keep lookin for a good one and still disapointed hoping you can do one

  • This guy has answers for everything, god bless you dude

  • What do you think about the fs92 m9 berreta. besides the fact that its a 9mm

  • Might as well just buy something like a Sig 229 E2 that solves all of these problems out of the box without any tinkering and has far better grip angle and ergonomics at the same time. You advocate buying AR-15 that you can send off for warranty if you have a problem but then advocate buying glocks which you have to spend another $100+ in parts, shipping and time. Interesting contradiction, I think possibly you're not following your own advice from "Two Types of Cool" on not being brand myopic

  • @jon780

How much does a Sig 229 cost stock from the gun store?

  • @jon780 sig=34.0 oz

    glock= 22 oz

glock= 32 round mags for it to just a random awesome thing about them keep the small clip in it and if needed put a big one in a phanny pack for rock and rollin

glock as every kind of cool ;3

  • @WormyGames i don't like Glock, but i totally have to agree lol

  • Do you CCW a 3.5# Glock trigger?

  • Comment removed

  • I clean my glock with dirt and sand?

  • 2 Kewl 4 Skewl. hahahahh

  • BEST GUN REVIEWS ON YOUTUBE TO THE POINT CLEAN AND CLEAR!

  • That springfield XDM with the matte chrome slide looks awesome

  • haha i forgot i watched this video a long time ago, still good, just wondering though do you ever get tired of saying the word glock? Seriously begins to sound weird to me haha expecially when nutn adds accent to the word every time.

  • dude just do the px4 already...do it in .40 i guarantee you wont regret it

  • love your reviews man.. funny you sound just like my uncle, and he also served in the USAF. Thanks again !

  • love your reviews man.. funny you sound just like my uncle, and he also served in the USAF. Thanks again !

  • just traded my G17 RTF2 for a G19...LOVE IT!!! i did not dislike the G17 but I can only afford one gun so it needs to multi purpose..G19 best darn pistol IMO.

  • Went and upgraded my Glock 17C with an extended mag release and extended slide release as you suggested. Much nicer and smoother to release now that those little doo-hickies are on her. Thanks! Great videos, much appreciated!

  • WHERE DID YOUR BUDDY @ THE BEGINNING GET HIS SUNGLASSES?

  • What makes Glocks is the modification is plenty in its system.

  • when i was new to glocks i thought that the number was the magizine capcity and then i saw the glock 30

  • GOOD VID NUTNFANCY!. i just ordered rubber decal grips for my glock 29. i couldn't decide between rubber and sand until i watched this vid. good info :)

  • DUAL GLOCK 35's

  • I'm gonna take my magazine, throw it in the derp, and kick it around in the derp

  • @XdynomightX and then piss on it... holy shit it still runs

  • @XdynomightX lol ikr?

  • G23, G17, G19, G34 Proud owner. TNP 4 Life. America.

  • there are anti self defence people, wtf they will change their minds when their is a dick in their butt, thats my opinion

  • FLAT DESERT EARTH!!!

  • Glock 17 + Surefire X300 = SMART!

  • Yea ok some of those sissy fly boys and girls have real jobs. After spending 4 months in Lack Land AFB and "seeing how the other half lives" and trains, it made me even more proud to be a soldier, or made me wish I started with the blue. I forget must be the dain bramage.. Any ways at least the army and the eair force still have the Navy to make fun of.

  • I STARTED OUT ON A 1911 AND SHOT IT FOR YEARS BUT FOR DUTY IT WAS A LITTLE HEAVY NOTTA BIG DEAL BUT I WANTED TO TRY A NEW gun SO I BOUGHT A GLOCK 21 AND IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO LEARN HOW TO SHOOT IT LOL IT WAS A HARD TRANSFER AS FAR AS ERGONOMICS IE WEIGHT GRIP ANGLE RECOILE ETC.. SO I LEARNED THE GLOCK SYSTEM AND NOW I AM CARRYING AN XD TACTICAL AND I FEEL ITS THE BEST HAPPY MEDIUM BETWEEN A GLOCK AND A 1911 AND I HONESTLY LOVE ALL 3 guns AND THE 3 G's

    3 G's

    GOD

    GUNS

GET THE HELL OF MY LAWN!!!!!

  • Have you ever gone to war?

  • @hedonistic1979 Nutn' has just retired from 20 years service in the USAF reaching the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, in which he served in many conflict zones around the world. Also he is/was a LEO (Law Enforcement officer)

  • @TheDishD Thanks for the info, I hate those who throw out phrases like that who have not been there and done that. USAF is about like being in the military, they are just the transportation department for us Army types. We couldn't stand the sissy fly boys so we kicked em to there own branch. :-)

  • @hedonistic1979 No prob's. I have great respect for the 'sissy fly boys" as they have dropped JDAM's danger close to me and my fellow Bootnecks (Royal Marines, Four Two Commando, rtd.) and have MediVac'd our wounded under fire more than once. if it wasnt for the refueling tankers we wouldn't have had CAS at all and the USAF FAC/JTAC's are some of the best i have every worked with. But i get the inter-service ribbing,eg say to a Bootneck that he part of the Army and fists will fly ha. take care

  • Not a fan of the Decal Grips. Not enough traction in my opinion. I like those Talon sand paper ones a lot more. But like you said, it could be rough on clothing or on any fabric and they add more circumference to the grip.

  • Glock stock night sights are made by Trijicon. I think it even says "trijicon" on the front sight

  • Where would you buy A grip (like on the Glock 26) and would you recommend it on a knife, for example the SOG Seal Pup Elite?

  • Hay guys i would appreciate it of somone could answer a couple of questions for me.

Ive seen a couple different glock 17s. Im wondering what the differences are and if any are better then the other.

You have the normal glock 17 with 17 rounds i believe

then ive seen another glock 17 that only holds 10. Only difference?

Also What is the glock 17 compensated? is it better?

Im still a noob at guns is there anyone that can install the trigger pull etc for me?

  • @OoTrigun1127oO The 10 round mag is optional. The Glock 17 C (compensated) Has two holes at the front of the barrel that lets some of the gases up wards compensating for the recoil of the gun.

  • @OoTrigun1127oO In California, you are limited to 10 round magazines. The gun itself is exactly the same as the "hi capacity" guns. You are not allowed to buy magazines (or make them) that have higher than 10 round capacity in California, and you are only allowed to buy certain guns that CA deems as "not unsafe".

  • @OoTrigun1127oO the G17A is a version built for the Australian market, barrel is 120mm (4.7in) length and is fitted with a 10 rnd mag, also the G17S, Glock 17S is a variant with an external, frame-mounted, manual safety it was made for the Australian customs and Tasmainan State police, many other versions, internaly no difference to "normal" versions of Glock

  • @arkieprepper I have never heard of changeable humps for Gen 3. I know they exist for Gen 4. I do there are Hogue type grip sleeves and there is a beaver tail for Gen 3 and Gen 4.

  • Glock is my favorite pistol because of weight and accuracy but i always wonder if the U.S Army uses them because i plan to join the marines and i would want the have the Glock at my side

  • @96shad US military uses the m9 beretta right now

  • @96shad What difference does it make if the Army uses them if you are joining the Marines? All branches use the M9 as the standard sidearm. Special units of all branches get to use different ones though. MEU use the 1911 and SEALs use the Mk.23.

  • @96shad The Army and the Marines is not a gun club. You'll use what they tell you to use. Also, I thought only officers are issued sidearms?

  • @Vincerama Certain MOS's (jobs) are issued side arms such as Military Police & Combat Medics (since carrying an AR would get in the way). But yes, in combat only those MOS's have sidearms & Non-Commissioned Officers (SGT and higher) and commissioned officers have side arms.

  • nutnfancy you are the man

  • Nut... you've disappointed me... not that you care.

Review your video... your initial draw at :36 YOU CAST THAT DRAW THE ENTIRE WAY! Maybe you should have been doing a demonstration on fishing???

    Dutch1911

  • you have great videos nutnfancy, i was just wondering though if there is any U.S.P.S.A./I.D.P.A. in your area because i never see you comment or review "race guns". i use a glock 24 for competition and i love it . anyways... i would like to hear what you thing about the type of guns/ type of shooting in uspsa.

  • dear sir, i would like to ask what is the differnce of glock made in USA and made in Austria? Here in my place the only available is made in USA i'm wondering if the USA is the ssame with Austria. No problem? No Hiccups? And very accurate? I'm planning to buy Glock 22 or 27. Thanks. hope you can help me.

  • @501twister ~ The Glock 22 is a fantastic gun, the .40cal is a great balance, easier than the .45 but packs a bigger punch than the 9mm. What I have, and would recommend, is the Gen3 RTF. Tried & true Gen3, but with the(much needed) improved grip texture. And if you want to deck the gun out, the Gen3 has FAR more available accessories than the Gen4. Internal Lasers, etc...

  • @Hour13GT you sir,are wrong! 9mm can match .40 with the right loading.and it's cheaper to shoot 9mm,therefore if your in the camp that believes shot placement is key,not caliber, then 9mm is the more practical round.politics have more control over caliber/weapon choice for cops and feds then practicality.i also believe that if a police department has to spend its budget or see it reduced then a new caliber for all of it's personnel will work.

  • @TheHumanpopsicle ~ Yes, if you can't hit a brick w/ a 16lb hammer, you should use a 10lb hammer, you'll break it faster. Myself, I don't have any problem with shot placement using my .40 cal, but it's not for everybody. The move to the .40? FBI/law enforcement wanted a caliber that was easier to shoot than the .45, but would deflect off windshields less. I get Ranger JHPs bulk from SGammo, works out to $17.50/50rd box shipped. Yes, 9mm ammo IS cheaper, but that ain't bad for hollowpoints!

  • @501twister i'm sory but i think you misunderstood my question. my question is it alright to purchase glock made in USA because the only available here in philippines, is only made in USA no made in Austria. So is it alright to buy made in USA?

  • I perfer a Glock 22 .40 cal

  • Sweet vid man

  • Thanks for the video brother, very informative. Keep up the outstanding work!

  • nutn do they make the green frames any more cause im looking for one like that

  • @50TNCSA no they stopped that a few years ago but some gun stores still have them and you can try gun broker

  • i THOUGHT EGYPTIANS WORSHIPING CATS WERE BAD THIS IS WORSE.

    GGGGLLLLLLLLOOOOOCCCCCCKKKKKKKK

  • But why the us army dont take the glock as secondary weapon?

  • I like how you show the original stock configuration for noobs like me who have no idea what the stock sometimes is when people review this gun or other guns. What about putting a little piece of grip tape on the slide release thing??? (the stock one that is)

  • Lone Wolf Distributors as of now has "LWD Extended Slide Stop 3 Pin" $12.99+s&h also yes the round mag release does have a few frame mods but LWD has a tool that mounts to any arbor press and (in my oppinion) provides a much better extended mag release than the standard retangular extention. You do have to shell out the cash for the cutting tool wich is $124.95+s&h and the extention istself is $14.95 but most of us with Glocks have more than one so think of it as an investment.

  • 666,999 view? sweet

  • Why exactly would lawyers say something about your trigger mod? what could even say? i dont understand how that matters...

  • @klown8745 stupid laws and requlations in certain states. if yuh use your firearm and are investiqated further, they miqht make a biq deal over it. . kinda sucks.

  • not only easy to carry , its also easy to field strip and repair on the go, well my opinion

  • I added the extended slide release on all 3 of my Glocks, but had to remove them after trying it out over a weekend of shooting 500 rounds. My thumb kept riding up on the grip and engaging the slide lock. Definitely a no-go in a defensive use scenario. I like the grip decals and extended magazine release however, and had no issues with those mods.

  • @davidpbcivil Not to sound harsh, but you are doing it wrong then. What grip are you using? Your thumb should be next to or on top of the slide release for maximum control. The higher up the better. If you use a straight thumb grip (Which IMO is the best).. you can rest your right thumb on top of your left thumb and the slide release. Maybe your hands are just way different than mine when gripped, but just my $.02.

  • @Wrathlegion This was during "stressed" shooting, drawing from a holster under concealment and placing two rounds in the center of mass in under 2 seconds, all weekend. As in a real defensive situation, not the time to be thinking "are my thumbs perfect?". If my gun is for recreation, no big deal. But for my defensive arms, I'm thinking: don't tinker with what the engineers designed and used successfully for 25+ years. They know what they're doing, and why they're doing it. Works for me.

  • @davidpbcivil Practice more and you won't think about it. IDPA and USPSA shooters use them all the time and don't have trouble. You can't tell me they aren't pushing themselves to the limit while doing it either. Also, those same engineers designed the extended slide release. They come stock on the G34 and G35. Really, you just have to put in the practice.

  • @Wrathlegion Thanks for the free advice, but I will disagree. First, in my judgment no competition’s stress level will rise to the level of lethal force. Second, as an engineer myself I know that there is more than one reason why a certain design feature may change with time, and it is not always an improvement in functionality, especially in the marketplace. I see more sense in the original slide release design, and will keep it so. Problem solved, for my conditions. If yours works, enjoy.

  • @davidpbcivil Do whatever works for you. I'm just saying it could be beneficial to learn with the extended.

  • one of the best movie that i ever watched..saw this in webmovietube

  • What is that jazzy music at the end? Also, how'd that victory mag work out for you?

  • Hey Nutnfancy, in regards to the extended slide release, you said that once you accidentally ordered the wrong slide release and had to remove the little metal nub so that it would fit. How did you do that? I'm in the same boat bc they sent me the wrong part. I could send it back but I don't feel like dealing with customer service.

  • I purchased a Glock 19 about 2 months ago. It was my first Glock. I took it apart and found what make it so reliable. The Glock has a superior feeding system. It is so simple, I don't know why Sig, 1911 models , Beretta, Taurus, etc. don't do the same thing. I just went out and picked up a Glock 31 and a .40 cal conversion barrel. Fast becoming a Glock lover. I will always like my Sig and 1911, but the mechanics of the Glock speak for themselves.

  • @frankgon4 I don't know why, but the Glock 31 is still my favorite of all Glocks to shoot. Have fun!

  • hey nutnfancy, thanks for the recent knife addiction- love the fact you tap into my glock passion as well, i have a clip draw on mine (g26)awesome for holster free ccw- have you used that system before? keep up the reviews!

  • gotta agree with you on glocks. used to think they were kinda wierd, but then i was doing simulations in a civilian police course (police/civilian public relations type deal) , using simunition rounds through a modified glock 17, and while it sounds corny, i fell in love. it worked in an urgent situation, and ran beautifully. considering saving up for a glock 19.

  • Bro i love your videos, im gunna buy a glock 21 tomorrow. What is the highest cap magazines i can get for the 21?

  • fancy who landisthat you arealwaysshooting on

  • i just got a g22-gen 4 and the grip is like god

  • I have had problems with my Glock and sand!! I have used it canoe camping and the magazine has jammed with sand. Maybe the difference was that my sand was a little wet, but sand in the magazine, 1 little grain of sand will work like a door stopper on the rounds. Solution, Carry a Glock and a SP 101. I see that it worked just fine in your gun, but try getting a little rain water on that gun, it's open and you can see daylight under the slide. It's still a fantastic gun however.

  • Ahh Insurgents on the Hill, a classic.

  • Droppin knowledge!! I love my glock (g26). I know a little bit about a little bit, and I learn something new every time I watch your videos. Thanks bro!!!

  • I love this channel. I feel like I'm actually learning something at work.

  • my left ear has nothing to do ?!?

  • @Razor4433 The audio on that one video was messed up, so the intro has only right audio from the video.

  • weight dosent matter when rambo aint got shit on you

  • Nutnfancy - in the beginning of the movie, the guy standing next to you what knife does he have on his chest?
