Your version have several flaws, even not counting missing PW, that has only been confirmed yesterday by Kojima to Famitsu, to be "his MGS5", hence a canon game, and that Rising won't be canon, and it will be a "completely different kind of action than what has appeared in the series so far".

So the correct order is: MGS3, MPO, MGS:PW, MG, MG2, MGS, MGS2, MGS4 story-wise.

Well. You couldn't play as Cyboprg Raiden, if Rising would take place after MGS4. The reason is that Raiden's body was turned to organic after MGS4. So that already reveals that Rising is between MGS2 and MGS4 since in MGS2 Raiden had organic body and in the ending of MGS4 his body was turned to organic.

gameplay wise, acid is more of a strategy game using cards, as opposed to the solid series where u can freely control snake and do as you wish.

Story wise:

the acid series is set in a different time period where Shadow Moses DID occur (The First MGS), but MGS2 never happened. From that point, Acid takes on a different route and branches off to a different story. The second Acid game is a sequel to the first Acid game. I found it enjoyable nonetheless.

well, if you don't mind playing a sort of slow-paced battle alongside annoying battles and close to no voice dialogue, be my guest. I found this game enjoyable as I appreciate any games. This game plays more like the Fire Emblem series, its all turn based and challenges the player to use strategy as opposed to the original series' gameplay of shooting and action. Story is interesting, and the character designs are nice. I only recommend to open-minded players tho.
