This is the best moment in any game I have ever played. Easily the best intro to anything. And when you slowly walk into the new wold you just unlocked, all the new jaw dropping sights.. It is just awesome. Best thing about it, I would have never expected it. It was the perfect timing for a perfect song.. Makes me wanna live back in the wild west..

i've been waiting for this moment since i heard about it. finally got the game. decide to loot the two dudes i killed. the music stops. no moment. i load the last auto save and wind up at some doc outside punta orgullo. it skipped the whole trip. way to fuck up what has been said to be one of the best moments of this game you fuck rockstar fucks.

@hydrotag i disagree that i messed it up. if this scene is to be a big part of the game, why would they have 2 enemies die at your feet with the option to loot them (as they've suggested you do throughout the game) if it's going to trigger the song not playing at all. a song i'm sure they paid money for, for this epic scene. it is a failure that they would have the cue be so easily tampered by simply playing the game as you had up to that point. why have the soldiers to loot to cause this?

When I first entered mexico, the sun was just breaking over the horizon and when the song started playing I was breath taken by the amazing atmosphere....which I ruined within a few seconds by shooting an armadillo and stopping the music. Needless to say I was heartbroken :(

Uncharted 2 is beautiful from a graphical standpoint, but Red Dead Redemption has a rugged beauty that captures the grandeur of America at the beginning of the 1900s. No other game has been able to capture the mood of the Old West so perfectly, as far as I know. It's beauty is also in the story and the characters, not only in the way that it looks

I remember hearing this song extremely vividly during my playthrough. It was perfect placement for this song. Needing to get out of America, and riding across the border on horseback during a clear starry night not knowing what I was going to see, meet or do once I get there, was one of the most memorable moments in video gaming. Truely one of the most immersive junctures I've experianced. Kudos to Rockstar.

I remember the first time I did this mission, I didnt like the horse that you were supposed to ride so I called for my one, and the song didnt play, I was so gutted because my brother was playing it earlier and I saw him travelling through Mexico with the song playing and I think its one of the most magical moments in Red Dead... Luckily we have the soundtrack on our Ps3 so I travelled again through Mexico with the song playing :)
