  • Damn Nice! :D <3

  • Sounds good.

  • this song is so cool. on the surface hes not really saying anything but he acutally is and the way he goes back and the forth with the instruments is sensational. just a great fun song.

  • 1 of my favorite songs by the roots. Watch em every nite on jimmy fallon. Plus i love jimmy. Perfect combination.

  • ESSAY-WWHA- MAN?!? LOVE IT

  • They took the bass line from "Louder Than a Bomb (Jam Master Jay Telephone Tap Groove)" - Public Enemy.

  • This used to be the song that we would test our highs and lows in our car audio systems.

  • Only the roots can drop such a dope live show into there albums......most rappers these days would sound like a retarded sheep if they played live and put it in there album

  • two ppl clearly dont know how to sit back and relax

  • THIS is why I blast classic/independent HIP-HOP tracks over mainstream HIP-POP

  • Ahhh. So awesome! The Roots is actually a rap group thet I can play a solo to!

  • 50% jazz jammin, 50% hip hop awesome, 100% GROOVE!

  • The BEST and yet the most under rated band ever !!!!!!!!!!!! Love you ROOTS !!!!!

  • scott storch is a beast

  • scott storch should have never left the roots

  • SOUTH PHILI IN THE HOUSE. RESPECT

  • when i was younger i used to think that there is no link between hip hop rhymes and real beatifull (jazzy) music. Some bands like the roots, sound providers and hocus pocus proved me wrong "for gods sake"!

  • This music sometimes reminds me of how whhhhack music has become today. I listen to this music and it smooths me out, relaxes me. This has soul, art, and passion written all over it. Artists from today should take note not only from one song but the whole album! my opinion....

  • Listen to today's music, then listen to this. I appreciate ingenuity in sound. The masses on the other hand....................

  • This song is genius. Philly always stands out in hip hop.

  • 3:17 brings the funkkk

  • im possible not to love the roots.

  • i just wish a lot more people knew about the roots in my country....all we hear here is all that 50 cent and diddy bull man.....props to the roots.....

  • where u from? cuz no matter where it is ur maybe one of the realest cuz of ur music taste

  • im from Malaysia man.

  • @afiqnordin Where are you from?

  • @stoniruca malaysia

  • @afiqnordin Heck I wish more people in my country knew about the roots and i live close to Philadelphia where they are from.

  • goosebumps

  • art!

  • Pure musical passion and talent.

  • This song gives me the orgasm, especially when the Saxaphone reply and answer section... Man.

  • True artists at work. I <3 Real Hip Hop

    :)

  • I really love this track. It was different than most of "Do You Want More?!!!??!". While the other tracks on this album were mellow and made you want to relax (not to mention being tight as all get out), this one just makes me want to bounce off the walls and shit.

  • I think its Steve Coleman on Sax.

  • This reminds me of the time I was in the Navy. I put everybody on this song...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the saxophone part rox IMHO :P

  • damn i wish there was a live recording of this

    video i mean

  • Yes, this is an amazing cd. Do You Want More and Low End Theory are my favorite hip hop CDs

  • love this cd

  • Yeah I feel you on that this cd is/was dope!

    -StoicOne!

  • This is what should be mainstream....other shit should be kept underground...

  • Not just underground, off the airwaves completely.

  • @tlcaudi amazing how topsy turvy the world is?

  • @tlcaudi In some ways, it's even better in being underground. It feels that more better than the rest, like you've found a masterpiece when you unearth these sort of songs/groups.

But they do deserve more recognition.

  • @tlcaudi i prefer it the other way (:

  • @tlcaudi i agree even tho the roots are mainstream now they still bring good shit tho :)

  • the roots is the only hip hop band that can have their lead jus say a bunch of gibberish and still make it freakin' awesome

  • Hell yeah dude. I'm sure you know it with an attitude like that, but check out "Don't Say Nuthin'" by The Roots as well.

  • dobry motyw ale nie dopracowany zbyt dobrze

  • damn rite so get tha fuck out hoe!!!

  • fuck you

  • The dopest song on that album, no doubt!

  • I like distortion to static way more than essaywhuman?! I think that it has pretty much the best rhythm of any hip-hop song i can think of.

  • (But I also like Essaywhuman?! a shitload)

  • So classic I have to pronounce it KO. LASSIC.

  • Yes, Scott Storch , ?uestlove & The Roots

  • illness

  • illest song out there.
