  • the propane flame should be completely blue without yellow tipping or sooting,this is wrong.

  • im no expert but the flame should be entirely blue. 

  • Did you change your gas pressures at all? Normally propane requires a higher pressures (in inches of water column) I just converted a natural gas furnace to propane this week and had to change the gas pressure from 3.5"w.c. to 11" w.c.

  • Looks perfect to me. I've had my maytag converted from ng to lpg running for approx 4 years. the yellow tips to the flames are a result of dust from your laundry so don't panic.

  • haaa I am in the same boat as you. Just did a ng to lpg on a stove and wondering if a complete blue flame is the goal. Me thinks it is supposed to be totally blue but thought that a little research through YouTube might help. Hope you get things ironed out.
