  • wowww im glad i gotta sony instead cuz i ws so close to buy this doo doo tv

  • I have similar problem. I have to wait for 3 min that screen appear every time when it was turned off for longer than 3 hours. Then Image flickers and finally stabilize.

It's Samsung Syncmaster 226CW Monitor manufactured on 2007. Of course warranty is expired.

  • thats what u get for buying a xbox360....

  • THIS IS A FACTORY DEFECTIVE FROM SAMSUNG. THEY SAVE CENTS FOR BUYING CHEAP CAPACITORS. SO NOW, WE ALL WHO TRUSTED IN SAMSUNG ARE SCREW UP. I USE TO BE A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF SAMSUNG, BUT NOT ANYMORE. SAMSUNG USE TO BE THE BEST FOR ME, NOW, ITS A PIECE OF GARBAGE, LESS THAN SHI TT...

CALL SAMSUNG, THEY SHOULD REPAIR YOUR SCAM TV. OR AT LEAST WE HAVE TO TRY.

SAMSUNG THE GARBAGE IN USA :

    1800 7267864.

    Freddy M.

    Ex. Loyal Samsung customer.

  • I have the same problem with my Samsung lcd 50, just after 2 years the picture do not come on but the sound it is working. Can anyone help me please? What can i do about this mess

  • DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !!

  • My 46 inch samsung lcd tv started clicking on & off and quit working just after the warranty expired. I will never buy samsung again. Samsung screwed me.

  • i hope it was a hot girl

  • @bankguy1000 i have a samsung 40" lcd tv i forget what series mite be 6 or 7, its round 7months old and havnt heard any clicking noises, after reading up and searching it seems alot of people have had the clicking problem after the warranty has expired some even before, do you have any advice for me???

  • @MrAussiebogan

Sell that JUNK before it takes a CRAP !

  • Put SAMSUNG TV CLICKING into a google search and read why THOUSANDS of samsung customers are screwed and pissed off.

  • We have the same problem with the LCD monitor.. we bought the LA22B450 samsung lcd tv 22" last may 29 and now almost 4 months later, we're having that same problem of having no picture but only sounds..everytime I turn it off and on again.the picture comes back a few minutes then it goes all black again..

  • This particular model is crap. Same problem with a 52" and on the second tv which was replaced under warranty. Of course now my warranty has expired and Samsung is not responding.

I am not recommending this tv to anyone despite all the positive reviews. The customer service is terrible and the TV problem is even worse.

  • If you look at the reviews, they say Samsung LCD TV is the top rated. But if you type Samsung LCD problems on youtube you get a BUNCH of videos. I think they ALL have problems since it IS an LCD. Sad the television industry is FORCING us to buy these otherwise you have to deal with a converter. I have a television made back in the 1970's and it still works like new. You KNOW this will never happen again, not with these new televisions. I think electronics is made cheap to keep the economy going?

  • sony is way better when it comes to customer service i guess the extra 100 bucks for a sony is worth never breaks down

  • I've had many samsung products (cell phones, tvs, lcd monitors, mp3 player) over the years and only have positive things to say. You're bound go get lemons with anything, whether it be electronics, automobiles or whatever. I just ordered this LN52A550 and will have it delivered tomorrow. I've read tons of very positive reviews about it and am looking forward to testing it out!

  • Samsung sucks ass. I bought one of their video cameras, and it had a loud buzzing noise, and this was considered normal operation.

  • I have a 40 inch samsung. Amazing picture but after 4 months the TV shuts off by itself. It freezes in a way that when you use your remote control and press any button it will shut down the TV. Apparently Samsung is having a MAJOR problem with their on/off sensitive button which is causing these issues. I've always bought Sony but I just loved Samsung's pic quality but now I am going back to Sony TV. Samsung does make great cell phones but their TVs have major problem across the board. Stay away

  • hell yes.

  • Yep...seen it...three times. Replaced the TV. Had the 2nd one repaired. Try turning off DNI and see what happens.

  • does samsung 32"la32o330 good for gaming like pc or ps3? im planning to buy 1 waht can u recomend me guys?

  • I have a 46" Samsung LCD and I have the exact same problem. It started when the TV was 1/2 month out of warranty. First call to Samsung was on September 9th. It is currently in a repair shop for the 4th time, because they can't fix it. We are now trying to get them to replace the TV. Has anyone had any success doing this?

  • Yes i did have it replaced. Mine was under warranty the whole time though. Took about 6 service calls and the samsung field tech who was really cool said "hell with it, just replace it."

  • @edwardspowners i have a samsung 40" lcd tv i forget what series mite be 6 or 7, its round 7months old and havnt heard any clicking noises, after reading up and searching it seems alot of people have had the clicking problem after the warranty has expired some even before, do you have any advice for me???

  • my Samsung LCD tv has a red light instead of blue.

and i dont have that problem haha

  • i think i know whats the problem, digital monitors othen have these kinda things then they suddenly lose their signal or power, you could try changing the cables or... pluging out all of the cables and the powercord out and holding the power button for some secconds then plug evrything back and try it againif thats the problem, can help you much

  • i have a 42" and am having similar problems, tried ringing the customer care line but they didn't give me any help at all

  • i have the same tv, no problems encountered soo far

  • there is a tv update for this set trust me i know my friend has it great tv after u update it if u have any ? let me know

  • Typical Samsung electronics. If out of warranty, usually its not cost effective to get it repaired due to Samsung's high cost in parts and poor factory support. Once they got your money, they dont care.

  • ive got a samsung monitor and it has never let me down.

  • does that tv have built-in speakers

  • Yes it has built in speakers, but i dont use them. I have all of my inputs into the back of the TV, then I have one optical output to my surround sound receiver. The sound wont work unless the TV is on. I disabled the internal speakers
