This is absolutely heartbreaking and unnecessary. There's absolutely no reason on God's green earth to be treating big cats as domestic pets and exploiting, abusing then abandoning them to their own fate or selling them off piece by piece as roasts and burgers....The cat sanctuaries are full and guess what - people still haven't figured out that apex predators are NOT meant to be pets...Leave big cats in the wild where they belong so they can live normal lives and STOP hunting them for sport!!!
It's something called importation it's not exactly the last time the the United States imported an exotic invasive species, they never learned from Austrailia first killer bees, snakeheads, burmese pythons and now large cats.
