  • Our church Sunday School Superintendent's husband sings this song alot. Suprised to find it on Youtube. Thanks for posting it.

  • When was this video made? I love the sound quality. This is one of my all time

    favorite songs. Please answer.

    Thank You!

The Lord Bless you for posting this video.

  • wow. this is so great to see my family!! naomi and james are my grandparents. thanks for the video! samantha sego.

  • Naomi seems younger than springtime, no matter what her age, but THIS really is just a sweet l'il rural Georgia girl and her kinfolks. Nobody, NObody sings like we sing in south Georgia! Praise the Lord, an' pass th' ammunition! ;)

  • I love this song!!! We love you Naomi!!

  • So great to see this! The Segos took me on the road with them when I was a kid and would bring me out and back me up as a featured part of their show. James was a good man and very much missed!

  • I love this song

  • Naomi can belt that one like Vestal!

  • too bad people get all hung up on a name or whatever insttead of the message of the song..thank you for posting this i greatly enjoyed it !!!!

  • And let me mention Jim Kirkland. He was a Preacher, and Singing, and a Godly man. These are people i know. And with all the back and forth. We have not noticed that 3 guys and a woman form south GA could have went that far without the hand of God. Yes i know. That most Segos have a 5 or 6 octave range and we can play anything we can get our hands on. But it would be nothing with out the hand of God.

  • I'm sitting here listening to my childhood music. I see Aunt Naomi. Who i know has never been anything other than a honest fair and faithful servant of the Lord. I see my Uncle James Who never had anything for me except a smile, clean joke, and an encouraging advice in my singing. I see my Dad Whom i know loved and enjoyed ever minute that he spent singing with his brothers. And i what can i say about my uncle lamar. He was a founding memeber of 2 amzing groups. A Godly man.

  • Just saw Naomi and the Segos last night. She was so nice and down to earth! Still singing great!

  • I believe Lamar is the bass.

  • Is this the same Lamar that sang with all of his kids ? I would love to get some of their old songs they sang.

  • I loved this group when I was a child. We used to sing this song too. It was a popular song at the time. This group to me was just a down to earth group serving the Lord and doing his will. God Bless You.

  • Is WR the bass singer or the baritone? I'm only 23 so I have only seen the videos of this group, but they always seemed to be so genuine in their songs. They have blessed me many times.

  • my my my , i used to travel with jim kirkland back in the 70's. does anyone know where hes at

  • Jim is currently playing piano for a group called The New Pilgrims. They should come up if you Google that name. He used to come to my church in Oklahoma and my uncle's church in Texas.

  • I seem to recall James introducing him on a video as the highest bass singer in the business :-) Any idea who the pianist is?

  • I think Claude Hopper took his place!

  • You've got quite a few of the groups I watched when I was a child. Thank you for sharing these. May God Bless.
