Now, technique wise the only one Im aware of that has a ripping technique and plays piano is Marshall Harrison, but the guys music isnt that great. If there is a guitar player that is on the same level as Shawn was its Michael Romeo.

the guy had a vey good rapport with the late great shawn lane.
and jonas hellborg.
he also has an instruction video on "konokol" with john mclaughlin.
