@Shvonzy No, it is the same Silent Hill. There are several references in Silent Hill 3 to characters from the second game. For example, Douglas mentions he was looking for someone in Silent Hill because of a missing person case. That missing person is James.
i don't think PH got to her because PH only goes after does that feel like they deserve to be punished..
and i don't think she really died.. she was probably just an ghost of the town.. she was troubled and disturbed.. the game never specified what really happened to her.. but then again, that's probably what they always want, right?... to make us think too much =p
@lambovsatan225 pyramid head was a specific construct of james and torments only him. He isn't a specific entity that moves on from on person to the next when they feel they need punishment.
He appears in SH:Homecoming as the same punishing entity towards Alex's father Adam.
Also in The Book of Lost Memories a man who is part of "The Cult" wears a large red triangular hood. I may be mistaken as to where he is mentioned, but I digress.
It is no more than my own belief, considering the town's powers that PH was already there and just manifests himself in the form the character sees him.
@lambovsatan225 -sigh- ok look, pyramid head is not in homecoming, that is 'the boogeyman.' and is not pyramid head, double helix just decided to reuse the model from the silent hill movie to fan service it up, but that is not in anyway related to pyramid head in sh2.
@lambovsatan225 the reason pyramid head looks like he does is because the first time james and mary went to silent hill there is a picture of an artistic representation of an executioner from silent hills past in the silent hill historical society which he saw and his subconscious used that as the image for james punisher. The old executioners wore red hoods and the man you are referring to is jimmy stone aka the red devil who wore a red hood as a tribute to them during ceremonies.
@slipknothim13 Yes!. Jimmy Stone.. one of Walter Sullivan's victims too.. Anyways
How would you explain the appearance of Pyramid Head in SH:HC?. Set aside the fact that SH:HC was developed by a different team. He shows the same kind of behaviour there as he does in SH2.
@lambovsatan225 again, that is NOT pyramid head its 'the boogeyman' albeit he shares similar behavior he is NOT the pyramid head from sh2. Just like pyramid head is a specific tormentor of james and only james the boogeyman is a tormentor of only alex.
@lambovsatan225 They just put him in because they thought it would be cool. BIG fail on old Tomm's part. He needs to be fired. Homecoming and Downpour are just crappy knock offs of Alan Wake.
@Senshiboi99 I don't think we can judge Downpour while it hasn't even been released. I'm willing to give the new Team a try and Daniel Litch who is in charge of the musical score is a very talented man.
OMG,angela never deserved to die in such a way.poor angela...the same thing that happened in silent hill 2,with harry's corpse and in silent hill 4 with claudia's corpse.
@noojx666 They did it as an easter egg >.> a special thing that would make you go OMG when you saw it...it was on purpose...and they never claim its actually angela.
While I agree that this most certainly isn't the literal character of Angela herself, the resemblance of the Closer's face to that of the Abstract Daddy is of some interest...
It's an Easter Egg because the staff felt like re-using the basis for Angela's model really. SH2 takes place in an alternate Silent Hill from SH1/SH3 anyway seeing as how there is NO Alessa involved whatsoever.
It's extremely unlikely for that to be Angela's corpse. If we assume that the events of SH 2 occurred not long after those of SH1, and SH3 happened many years after SH1, then Angela probably died years before the events of SH3. And even if she didn't die, she's have aged enough not to look exactly as young as the corpse looks. It's probably either a coincidence or an easter egg of some sort.
I doubt it is her because the mall isn't in Silent Hill :P I hope Angela didn't die... she deserves a game of her own lol or at least a minigame scenario like Maria got!
No, I doubt that. Team Silent is infamous for giving dead corpses the same model as the lead character. As seen in Silent Hill 2, 3, and yes, even 4. I think the corpse the Closer is feeding on is Heather's character model. They had the exact hair, after all.
Hmmm.....never mind...I guess Team Silent really did use her character model. Still though, I refuse to believe that she was killed by a Closer. I think this is just a coincidence or reference.
How cute! Cute creatures they just want to witness the rebirth of paradise.

I don't think Konami ever confirmed if that was actually Angela. It'd cool if was... but I don't think so.

they use the same body model its cheaper in the long run and it saves time because making a great game costs time and money
